First they charged for an upgrade that should have been free and then made it near impossible to carry over save games from your base PS4 version. They said they will not patch it in future. So the only option to carry over your save games from Control PS4 edition is to get the Control Ultimate Edition on PS4 console, launch it there and it will read the base version save game and convert that to Ultimate edition version of save game. Then you can launch the PS5 version of ultimate edition on PS5 which will then read that converted save game. Just blows my mind how they cant incorporate something similar to what Insomniac did to transfer saves. Making customer jump through multiple hoops.
