Well WoW nor FF14 were ever based up on a base SP campaign game world

Wut?

WoW is based on Warcraft Games (Single Player RTS).

FF14 is based on Final Fantasy (Single Player RPGs) and has tons of throw-back to previous games. I can go raid Rabanastre/Dalmasca right now if I want (FF12). In fact, there is reference to each and every FF game in there. Of course, just like all Final Fantasies, they are Easter Eggs and FF14 has it's own story (One of the best in the entire Final Fantasy Series)

The SP Games are as relevant as SP for ESO. In fact, WoW has more relevant SP content, since the game is a direct sequel to Warcraft 3. ESO has no relevance to ES SP, other than some minor names and Easter Eggs, since it's hand-waved away as "A Long, Long Time Ago" (They just forgot to add "In a Galaxy Far, far Away" to complete the saying)

It's priced for $680 if we do conversation wth is Microsoft india doing. Nadella is robbing us blind. With GST i doubt they can whine about multiple taxes they had to pay. As sony once i guess said said with gst they could easily bring their costly ps4 pro back then without worrying about whether people would buy it.

How are we as a gaming community allowing Microsoft to get away with this price shouldn't we start petitions and flood their socials untill they make it a sensible price

The problem has never been number of studios. They had plenty even before Bethesda. The problem is how they handle their studios.

Microsoft is a software company at the end of the day that has had mediocre hardware success. It’s not an entertainment company and it shows. The two biggest Xbox IP - Gears and Halo - were created outside Microsoft. The best Xbox One first party games IMO (FH3 and FH4) were developed outside Microsoft and then they acquired PG. And now they’ve pulled a classic Microsoft move and let them make an RPG.

I don’t know what the reason is but all their in house IP - Now Halo, Gears and FM - have regressed over the last generation. And then they do stupid stuff like outsourcing Crackdown to Sumo Digital.

Adding quantity doesn’t automatically improve the quality. Sure they may have more first party games next gen, and if the whole Game Pass philosophy is quantity over quality, then great. But they need to up the quality of their output. You can show numbers on a PowerPoint slide for only so long.

Only time will tell but for now it’s certainly looking promising

For their own good, they should run Bethesda as an independent subsidiary.

they already have hands off policy on newer acquisition

“Microsoft announced it would be taking a hands-off approach toward Bethesda”

No they didnt have plenty of studios before ,beginning of this gen there were only 7 or 8 studios. Having more studios also mean that they dont have to go to  outside developers for games where quality control becomes a problem and you get stuff like crackdown and cancellations like scalebound etc. Not to forget how cash strapped they were this entire gen all the way upto 2018 due to their internal politics.

Since the acquisition began 2 years ago ,there have been 0 reports that ms is interfering in the day to day business and decision making in any of the studios , i dont see things changing with bethesda too . There has only been praises from all the newly acquired studios of how MS is helping them grow .There are already rumours of AAA games by inexile ,obsidian ,compusions and ninja theory etc which were the so called smaller studios among the acquisitions.

Its ok to doubt till be see the games and thats totally fair i guess ,but this is easily the strongest and consumer friendly xbox we have compared to any of the previous generation .
