But how has series x been hacked so soon. Barely a month. Lol.

This is not hacked. You can pay $20 to unlock Dev mode on all Xbox one consoles and install Retroarch emulator. It can play PS1, PSP, GameCube, Wii, Wii U games too, along with Snes etc.

Does this void warranty? Imean the emulator part. Amazing feature if being officially supported by MS. Lol.

No it doesn't. It's a toggle. You can switch between Dev mode and retail mode, it just requires a reboot. In dev mode you can't play xbox games.

60 FPS so good. Looks to be 1080p. But damn the 60 fps is smooth, not a single drop so far, though my monitor supports VRR so I don't know.

New patch out already ? Nice.. As long as it pleases your eyes and experience screw  what resolution it may be running..

Yes it looks great. Maybe around 1080p. I wish all games have 60 fps option going forward.

This so much. I value the gameplay, story, FOV etc before resolution and never understood the struggle people go for 4K. I still use a 1080p screen to game even though we have have 4k TV which is mainly used for movies and stuff.

So one question

If I use the Dev mode & install all this (preferably on an external HDD)

& return to my normal Xbox mode

will I loose any data on SSD or external HDD while switching between the two modes ?!?

this is indeed a major benefit :O

No you will loose nothing. Just uncheck dev mode, system reboots and you are back in retail mode. Vice versa for dev mode.

looks super smooth. How do you capture, btw?

I use Hdd to save larger clips. Also disable HDR before capturing as both series consoles have issue with HDR capture and microsoft is working on patch. Than upload the clip from HDD to youtube. PS4 does this way better. Video upload is a PITA on Xbox.

Digital foundry Watchdogs analysis: "PS5 loads in 18 secs while Series X loads in 26 secs. Nice little win for PS5"
Yeah, 30% less time is a little win. Then they complain that people are calling them Xbox shill.

I feel Xbox also easy, what I do on my One X is upload to One Drive, download on my phone (full quality no compression) and upload back to YouTube.. everything happens so quickly and editing multiple clips on phone is cake walk...

There's one little problem though. Whenever you load god of war (1/2) on series (s/x), Kratos looks like this guy....images (84).jpg
