it’s not even available to buy on playstation and has special refund policy on Xbox … that tells you everything

Sorry. I meant it plays better on the current gen (compared to last gen) for obvious reasons.

It has been decently patched on the pc though. Console versions would follow soon I presume

Not beating a dead horse again ,go read his we believe in generations article clearly misleading the fanboys before announcing spider-man dlc ,next horizon etc as crossgen titles.

Now waiting for next god of war crossgen announcement coming soon ??

Claiming that high budget, much anticipated aaa games that come out next year (halo, Starfield etc) would give a playable (atleast 30 fps) on a system that came out in 2014 seems to me like a bigger sham than launching miles Morales on the PS4.

However Im eager to find out how they pull this off (cross gen compatibility).

Personal opinion- they should focus on the quality of their games than focussing too much on the cross platform compatibility.

Dont really care but everyone was shocked when crossgen games were announced ,lets be clear about that .

If you didn't care, you wouldn't be bringing it up again and again.

I agree. It's been 623 Days Since Xbox had its last AAA Exclusive Game (Gears 5) And 5 years since Xbox had its last AAA New IP (Quantum Break) according to twitter. And seems like there won't be any for another year or two.

This is misleading. Xbox games are mostly online oriented. You dont need to release a new game every 6 months as that divides community.

Check out Gears 5, Halo 5 right now. They are constantly updated and you easily get 2-3 PS single player games worth of content.

Both these games now have active communities and are ton of fun online, even for casual players like me. They are following GAAS model.

How come a fact about the lack of aaa exclusive games be misleading?

Also how does the prevalence of online content for certain games justify the lack of exclusive single player content for a console??

It's not misleading one bit.

Has it really been 623 Days Since Xbox had its last AAA Exclusive Game? Yes.

Has it really been 5 years since Xbox had its last AAA New IP? Yes.

There's no new AAA exclusives, definitely no new ideas, no risks being taken with new IPs. MS has really deep pockets, they can afford to take risk making new IPs, things they can call their own.

And please don't change the topic, I never said those 2 games you mentioned are not active. As for PS, that attempt at comparing 'updates for a game' is similar to 2-3 different games just doesn't make any sense. Even if they're active and fun, that's no reason to stop making games and rely solely on existing/third party titles.

Damn ! That’s a long time.  Doesn’t the medium count ?
