How does it matter if he puts his controller on charge through PS or XB. 
He’ll be charging the device through same means. 

 

You make it sound like it’s something dumb. 
When most of the ppl who use these devices do it this way. 
 

Ya if you assumed (on your own) that he puts both on simultaneously & uses one to play & other to charge (which he kinda didn’t imply).

Coming back to the topic at hand, yep, Eneloops everytime!

 

One somewhat interesting thing that happened to me yesterday is that I played wired after like 8 years or so and I'm not sure if it's placebo or not but OMFG the aiming in Halo felt very different (better) to me. I play on a high sens and it felt like the latency was measurably lower and consistent; I was able to much better control the reticle. The reason I say this could be placebo is because I tried a lot of changes yesterday. No batteries in the controller, no chat adapter, different stick thumb grips as well. Will play around a bit today to confirm this but I'm pretty confident about what I experienced.

Ps5 plated unless in black NOt worth it, I wouldn’t buy anything other tha a custom plate.

It's not worth buying at all be it third party or sony branded. Might as well buy a game or extra controller for that price.
