Xenia - any idea about this ?

Xbox 360 emulator, works on windows & seems it has been ported & optimized for series s/x. Have only tried it on PC & it works well in the supported games. Played Red dead redemption this way & it performs & looks better here than it does on RPCS3 or PS3 for that matter.

Man watching it (RDR) run at 4K 60fps on Xenia feels like the proper remaster we always wanted. Just need sell your kidney to afford an RTX4090. :P

Looks great. Might actually try this once I am done with Witcher 3.

For Shutdown (energy saving) mode, it doesn’t do background game downloads and updates. Only the high power consumption mode does background downloads

are you experiencing the same issue?

Hasn't that always been the case ..

Downloads and updates only happen in "Instant on" mode or whatever it's called now.

Energy saving mode does download system and game updates in the background.

@Overlord as for your question, I've experienced this as well though I don't keep a track of it so can't tell you how frequent it is.

Xbox Wants to 'Build on the Potential' They Are Seeing in India.

Quote

Arjun Varma, the manager at Xbox's Global Expansion Incubator (GXI) team in an interview with GamesIndustry discussed ID@Xbox and the potential growth in India.

Microsoft wants to give indie developers in India "the same tools and resources that Microsoft's biggest partners have access to," he added.

"We're also looking at how we can leverage the ID@Azure program for Indian indie developers," he said. "Once you log in, you'll immediately get about $500 worth of free Azure credit. And when they start their journey, they will have an opportunity to earn up to $5,000 worth of free Azure credits. This will lower the barrier of creating games."

I suspect a lot of Indians already work on each AAA title as support studios.

After playing Raji, I think they can do well on their own as well.

That was just a colour issue. Too much contrast.

Rest of the work they did well.

You're joking right . It looked like a PS2 game  . And the game is as good as dead now. Ubisoft Montreal supposed to fix it but apparently they have given up on it .

It wasn't ambitious remake. More like AA level. Thats what id@xbox all about.

Just watched it again. Huge upgrade over ps2 version. Even high contrast isn't that bad.
