Since the external SSD port for XSX runs natively like an internal SSD, is it "technically" possible for MS to design and release a specialized adapter down the line which allows any high speed SSD to be connected?

Surface team did it again by creating best in class console hardware 

 

They managed to make a far more powerful console that is quieter, cooler, and consumes less power than its predecessor. Now that's what you call engineering marvel. No putting big a*s heatsink is not engineering Marvel lol

After testing a variety of Gears 5 campaign save files, I found a 75 percent improvement for the console version; 53-second loads on my PC were as short as 12 seconds on my Xbox Series X for identical content.

In case you skimmed over that paragraph: That's not comparing Series X load times to older consoles. That's comparing Series X load times to a top-of-the-line PC.

1080p/60 is not bad for D2. Especially with FoV because some genius at Bungie decided to tie recoil stats to FoV so higher the FoV, lower the recoil.

Actually. price-conscious people wouldn't mind, if it is a few notches below, it is a perfect portable gamepass machine.

 

But a year down the line, it will become 900p.....and then support will start fading away.

That's exactly what will happen if will try to keep things balanced series x will never reach its max potential and if it does series s will be left behind..
