hmmn, well its as big as my air purifier for sure, dunno what Sony are thinking? they make such sleek TVs & the PS4 Pro was one good looking console.

Guess market domination made them a bit cocky? Its down right a very ugly console. Offocurse the fanboys will say blah blah its beautiful but i still prefer the PS4 Pro design any day of the week.

I think the PS4 Pro is now the best looking console from Sony.

That thing is clocked at 2.23Ghz on GPU. Dunno how easy it is for RDNA2 to clock that high (we'll know very soon) but current cards require Nitrogen to reach anywhere near 2.3Ghz and stay there. PS5 size is not some conspiracy to sell you slimmer console later or them being cocky, come on now

Didnt meant it as conspiracy. More of a money minded decision same as some of the mobile manufacturers who make minimal iterations on their products instead of providing significant upgrades.

 

If they can come up with a slimmer version couple of years down the line, then they can do so now as well.

The slimmer versions usually launches down the line because of availability of more efficient tech. If they could do it now why not release PS6 or XBSX2 right away?! If they manage to find a way to make the console smaller without sacrificing it's cooling needs they'll do it.

I would buy that Series S in a heartbeat for 25K
