The Xbox Series X|S thread

We want every Xbox player to play all the new games from Xbox Game Studios. That’s why Xbox Game Studios titles we release in the next couple of years—like Halo Infinite—will be available and play great on Xbox Series X and Xbox One. We won’t force you to upgrade to Xbox Series X at launch to play Xbox exclusives.

This is some serious next-gen marketing jhol.

They are wrapping standard transition-to-next-gen practice into something only they are doing, and evil Sony is """"forcing""""" people to upgrade :rofl:

Sony just needs to drop an announcement of sensible PS5 price, and proper info about BC and MS will be shut down just like 2014.

Your games will not be left behind, thanks to backward compatibility. You will be able to play four generations of games on Xbox Series X on day one.

Your Xbox One gaming accessories come into the future with you, too. The Xbox Elite Controller and Xbox Adaptive Controller all work on Xbox Series X, so you don’t have to purchase new controllers.

You can buy games once at no added cost. With our new Smart Delivery technology, you don’t need to buy the same game twice – once for the current console generation and once for the next generation.

Xbox Play Anywhere digital titles also enable you to buy once and play on both Xbox consoles and Windows 10 PCs.

We hope you’ll join us next Thursday, July 23rd for the Xbox Games Showcase for the first look at the Halo Infinite Campaign and more.

Count the number of Xs on the box, see if you can drink that many shots of tequila.

Always thought German Box arts are the ugliest one until I saw this. I wonder What about the German version of this?

Imagine being held back by a dabba from 2013 with an ancient HD 7870-tier GPU and CPU originally meant for tablets.

It is going to be fun to see the bots contort themselves into new shapes with the mental gymnastics over this.

And confirmed.

Microsoft discontinues Xbox One X and Xbox One S digital edition ahead of Series X launch

Quote

"As we ramp into the future with Xbox Series X, we’re taking the natural step of stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition,” says a Microsoft spokesperson in a statement to The Verge. “Xbox One S will continue to be manufactured and sold globally.”

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Egg on the face of all the guys who were posting "6tf beast" repeatedly over here for 18 months and then not being able to play on the console for even 18months. Don't think even the ouya got discontinued so soon.
