Even apart from this mode

every other mode barely has any advantage over PS5

like 5frames at tops at any given time, sometimes not even that (in gameplay)

Game loads 35% faster on PS5

chaale gaya 20% graphics advantage bhainswa ki aaaankh mai

Xbots ki sumbdi mai kumbdi :-

This is clearly an optimisation problem. This game was built for last gen.

Even Miles Morales is only able to draw only ~60% of potential PS5 power.

Should wait for next gen games built for next gen before concluding anything.

Also, just watch digital foundry x1x vs pro for red dead redemption 2, wolfenstein 2 and shadow of war. Pro loses very badly - that’s called real losing

Looks pretty good. Is it worth it at the price? I am seriously considering this, instead of SX, till PS5 is released.

Yeah it is if you get it at 30k or below. I will get Series X eventually though, but so far this console is fine. Not a single game had performance issue yet, and all unlocked framerate games ran rock solid at 60 fps.

If that’s making you feel better today

then why not

also congrats on the shipment

Ironically, I am currently playing Marvel’s Spiderman on PS4 Pro. I thoroughly enjoyed PS exclusives. But Pro’s multi-platform gaming performance is so disappointing compared to one X :(

Another example, Rise of the Tomb Raider - amazing game but the Pro only offers high fidelity enriched visuals mode at 1080p, looks blurry in my TV. One X does Enriched Visuals at 4K - come on man!

The whole world knows & admits that

& there is Scientific reason for that

PS4pro & XBoneX were never direct competitors when it came to hardware

Pro was $100 cheaper & full one year early to the market

inflation adjusted,it was about $200 cheaper console & you get what you pay for end of the day

That’s not the case with PS5 & SeriesX

nor was it with PS4 & XBone

I already said this numerous times her to Zodak & Trigger

but I guess you weren’t around

1 saal main 100 dollar inflation :fear:

It’s technology inflation

not aalo pyaaz bhindi

Tech changes faster than you think

There is no 100% inflation in tech either and that too in 1 year. I dont believe 100 bucks in 2017 are worth 200 bucks in 2020.Not sure where you got that calculation from :P

Who said 100% inflation

see you got it all wrong

PS4pro was $399 at launch

Full 1 year later it must have taken a lot less to assemble the same machine

say maybe $299

how is that 100% inflation

You just said it cost 100 dollars less, and 200 dollars if we adjust for inflation..

MS and console DRMs

One would think MS would have learnt a valuable lesson after the a*s whooping they had recieved from Sony in the beginning of current gen. Seems like they're just not talking about it openly and letting people find out after they've bought the console. There's a saying in kannada that literally goes, A dog's tail is always twisted.(no matter how much you straighten it)

This is going around on twitter since yesterday that Xbox cant be setup without the DRM activation while PS5 can be. Looks like some things never change :roflroll: I thought MS learnt their lesson from last gen's a*s whooping but I guess they are now sadly addicted to it

There's no question, X1X is more powerful compared to PS4Pro. I don't remember Sony marketing it as a native 4K machine, it was meant to upscale to 4K if I'm not mistaken. And today even the mighty PC is more driven towards upscaling tech than native 4K. Anyway, DF's John has said it multiple times, it's no longer about resolution but proper utilization of upscaling techniques, something Sony has become really good at. DF even picked PS4Pro as preferred system for Watch dogs legion thanks to its optimization, despite X1X having better resolution. As for real losing, that's selling less than 50M units compared to 115M sold by the competitor.

Also, for some reason you sound a lot like that wolf guy.

It’s just the setup phase I hope

& not an actual DRM interval like they planned for last gen

That's what I thought too. But seems like after a cold boot, people are not able to play disc games that they already activated, it's expecting to be connected to internet for activation again.

I don't think this is a big problem though, if there's enough backlash I'm sure they'll revert it, just like they did with day 1 patch of XB1. But it's kinda shocking they continued with this after what happened current gen.

there is a workaround though.

But this is abhorrent. Game preservation my @$$ if BC needs constant updates/ internet connection. Phil Spencer needs to learn from their (tainted?) history.

Who the f**k are these idiot youtubers? This personalisation thing has been there since Xbox one vcr. You can't play xbox games offline unless you have made that console your home console. It was kind of a step to prevent game sharing indefinitely. Like Sony's primary PS4.

Bunch of noobs who bought xbox first time ever??
