Drifting is a bigger problem in switch lite though.

Switch Lite is a problem in itself. It's not even a "Switch" in normal sense.

Drifting is the reason I haven't bought one yet. We don't even have warranty here .

It's not SO big as it is made out to be. In more than 2 years, I had to get 1 JC replaced. And if you use the Pro Controller, no drift issues.

The only way to avoid joycon drift is to buy the Pro controller. Learnt the lesson the hard way.

Kinda like the system though. Perfect for (metro) travels.

I hope they fix this issue somehow. Wanted to get one for myself.

Is there any super sampling mode on series x just like they have on PS4 pro. If you play on a 1080p monitor ? Or is there any other similar mode available for series x which enhances the gameplay/graphics if you play on 1080p res.

The Joycons and Pro controller are anything but cheap feeling.

Joycons do have the drift issue, but the Pro controller is straight up ace. 40 hours on a single charge too. Insane.

I also like the 8bitdo controllers.

Yeah, pro controller is straight up black magic. That kind of backup is a god send.

The Series X and PS5, much like their Xbox One X and PS4 Pro predecessors, know how to super sample or effectively “downscale” from 4K to full HD 1080p. That means you’re actually viewing 4K quality textures and effects that render in “denser” 1080p. The result is noticeably better image quality compared to native, non-super sampled full HD. Those 4K textures compressed to 1080p retain their data complexity even if it’s not fully shown on the screen. You will notice better texture filtering, less jaggies, less asset pop, and so on. Simply put, super sampled 1080p is improved 1080p.

This is true, I'm speaking from experience. However you need to set supersampling to 'on', which is 'off' by default.

DF had made an excellent analysis about this:

I’m currently playing on a 1080p TV after playing games like:-

Destiny2,Hitman,CoD:BO 4,GoW,Witcher 3,UC LL,Horizon,Deus Ex on a 4k display

Supersampling can’t do sh*t in comparison to actual 4k

what ever difference is there is negligible

I think the comparison here is in the lines of Base PS4 and PS4Pro on 1080p. 4K is not in the equation.

PS4Pro with supersampling on a 1080p monitor does look slightly better than base PS4 on 1080p monitor. This is on top of quality and framerate mode.

I had 1080p monitor before and after switching from base to pro PS4.
