Played it almost whole day today 12 Chapters straight, Hope I don’t get rat nightmares tonight :fear1: Less Bullshite, good puzzles and neat story telling game with brilliant visuals.. wish they had unlocked to 60 FPS on SX.. The setting has vibes of Senua or atleast looks similar engine..  

 

Hows Quantum Break from same developers, will the Gfx hold to date ? Will be jumping on MEDIUM from tomorrow..

Gotcha, for some reason Asobo games wiki has Quantum Break also under them.. Flight Sim yeah that’s gonna be one hell of an eye candy..

I think the graphics will still look great. I remember it having some fantastic lighting thanks to its use of global illumination.

They probably did some outsource work for Quantum Break. They might have a long relationship with MS, which is how the got the Flight Sim project.

Surprise surprise. My recommended game oved by everyone. BC i only play quality stuff. :)

 

 

Plague tale by Asobo (Flight simulator devs)

 

Quantum break by Remedy. Its alright but control is much better game.

Haha sorry forgot to tag you Bhai :thumbsup: Karte raho aise hi, expected a bit more on Series X but guess it runs same as One X with load time improvements.. 
 

 I wonder how they released it for PS4 as well, wasn’t the studios owned my MS that time ?

No Asobo not owned by MS. They indie developers

I don't get the logic behind your follow up statement. Could you please elaborate?

 

 Is MS incapable of owning an indie developer or do they become a AAA Gold Plated Devs once MS acquires them?

Once a large corporation acquires a studio, its no longer indie aka independent. 

 

Indie studios partner with publishers. They are not owned. Like for instance, Concrete Genie was developed internally by a Sony owned studio. It may be as small as an indie, but is not treated as one. 

 

I think this is pretty much what he meant.

Ok, that makes sense.

 

So, if an indie dev is acquired by Sony or MS, and they develop and launch a game which is quite small in scale, would it still be called an indie title?!

How would it be independent when it is funded by Sony/MS

Going by certain people on IVG, an Indie title is the one with sub par GFX :lol:

Play Quantum Break if you have the patience to watch a mediocre TV Show in between gameplay (each episode being 1/2 hour length). Why the heck did Remedy think this was a good idea I don't know.

True, but then again they only did it with MGS 4 and all those characters had tons of history (Plus were saying farewell). Plus MGS4 (The only one I know which had long cutscenes) story was actually good. Don't think they did it for MGS 5. Definitely not a good idea for a new IP with brand new characters whom you don't even know.
