I streamed the episodes..I watched them as they are part of the story... you could probably skip them if you are not interested in the story..

So that 77GB or 110GB number is pure game data? Since it’s an old game, it should be 20-50GB range. Control itself is less than 60GB.

i don’t exactly remember how much space it occupied but by default it did not download the videos ... there was an option to download videos after loading the game

Playing Halo 2 now, and it feels better than Halo 1.. significantly. But, all in all, not really enjoying it much.

Particularly hate the "big open areas with no direction markers" style of it. And that Warthog control... yuck!

Shouldn't have started Halo at all :wallbash:

Play Reach and ODST, best Halo games and with self contained storylines.

Halo 4 is alright. Its more modernized.

Yep, trying to finish Halo 2 as soon as possible. I have this annoying pet peeve of not being to drop a game half way :fear1: (Halo 1 had gotten unbearable)

It’s akin to playing Resident Evil 4 today

both games revolutionised the industry back then but didn’t really stand the test of time

as things got too much modernised immediately thereafter

When Skyrim released, i played it like crazy but now when i went back to check new mods, i couldn't play it more than 30 mins. Gameplay is sh*t in Skyrim lol

So I was thinking of downloading Halo MCC and start with Halo 1.

It looks like it's not aged well. What do you guys think, should I start with Halo 3 instead and skip 1 and 2. Probably just youtube the story bit.

Based on my experience-

Halo 1 - Hard pass

Halo 2 - Doesn't feel as dated, but still not 'great'.

..

rest yet to play

Clear Positives (imo)

  • The soundtrack. Every now and then it will randomly (!) kick off some banger background score, really helps you get past the drudgery of the game.
  • The button to switch between classic and remastered visuals is pretty dope, for a gimmick I mean.

Reach has best mix of classic Halo music and some amazing new tracks

Music at 3:20 gives me goosebumps

Music played in Reach VGA Reveal trailer

First Halo game to offer character customization and you dont play as Chief which makes it better :P

Keep disc in console. It basically acts like a key at that point. Because otherwise how will the console know if you own it.

I thought that, the disc doesn't spin at anytime. Not even when I launch the game. So I thought maybe I can take it out.

Xbox Series X is super quiet tho.. it's a wonderful sweet little device.

Hi, I have an XSX and I have been using a Champion UPS 800VA or 480Watts. It just can’t support the xbox when full gaming load is active - xbox just shuts down when there’s a power outage while gaming. I read that XSX pulls upto 300-350 Watts of power and the UPS should ideally support upto 480 Watts. What’s happening? Should I get a higher wattage UPS? Please suggest a good UPS

APC also wont sustain the series x at 800 va. There is definitely some technical qspect we miss when looking at the power ratings. Min 1100 va needs to be bought.

In fact have a 55 inch oled (around 150-250 W i think) and 1 ps5/series X hooked to a 1100 va apc, still doesnt seem to be enough as it starts overloading beeps even with mains ON.

+1

I have the my TV connected to one 1000 VA UPS and the XSX/PS4 Pro to another 1100 VA UPS.

My old 600 VA APC UPS used to start the overload beeping even with mains ON for my TV, while playing certain HDR videos.

Damn! So even the 1000 models can't handle a tv and console? Then inverter is the only way to go ?
