Absolutely. Ms has totally screwed series s pricing in india. No wonder its sales have tanked in offline markets. 

 

Series x however is a decent buy for the hardware it offers (12 tflops @50k). I'm speculating that software performance, if optimised, would run decently well on the hardware. 

 

 

right now though, in games like cod warzone, it has performance issues.

I never said that . I just said that not everyone buys a inferior/bad product (as per you) because the better product is not available .

Unavailability of PS stock during that month would have no doubt helped sales of XSS but it's not the only reason why it sold well .It sold well primarily cause it's a good product with great value for money .

Agreed . I said the same myself earlier here as well. MS definitely got the pricing wrong in India and 512 GB SSD is not adequate.

It's a fantastic system. I like it a lot. Image quality coming out of it is beautiful. 

 

It's price is 3-4 k higher than US dollar conversion, but I am willing to pay.

 

My conclusion after actually using it.

XSS is primarily a GamePass machine. I personally think it serves a better purpose at 30K but value is relative; people have different priorities. For someone who wants to play on GamePass for as cheap as possible, it is rather stupid to suggest they spend an extra 15K for XSX or spend10K for PS5 which doesn't have GP. But why waste time understanding all these different perspectives when you can be an online warrior and tell everyone that their choices are wrong.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that MS only managed to secure half the wafers as Sony. I'm not even sure what's the point of discussing all these sales number.

Actually he is also pulling out statements like "PS4 had no exclusives for the first 4 years - FACT" , and he has been constantly throwing more such BS facts for a long time on this thread without any kind of research (read simple google search) whatsoever, so no he isnt as innocent as you guys are making him out to be.

Yeah, after all that’s all that matters. 

 

But the price is still 10k more after dollar conversion. 

In India this would be a great purchase if it was 29k. 

It’s mainly targeting people who want to get into console gaming for the first time and it’s working for them..

It has one more benefit. It matches resolution with 1080p screens.

 

If I had a ps5 digital or series x, I would prefer to have 4k screen.

 

No urge to upgrade my 1080p screen with series s. 

 

I am at peace cause of that. Might be minor point for some but real issue for me.

I agree. I didn't just spend 50K on XSX, I had to spend another 30K+ on the monitor as well. But your argument is invalid since money grows on trees.

 

PSA: To anyone who has 35K to buy the XSS, please reach out to all the concerned trolls here to secure the remaining 15K and get the XSX instead.

They secure same i think , but they choose to upgrade the azure servers because MS knows they cant win the sales war.
