Hey guys, I (and others) have been getting a lot of complaints regarding some of the discussions in the PS5 and XSX threads. Specifically, the name calling and personal comments are getting out of hand, and it turns a lot of people away from being more active in these threads. There are some members who have made a habit of derailing these two threads and we won't allow that going forward. So please use this post as a general warning to everyone.   Many of us will soon have an Xbox Ser

They bought/built a lot of studios starting 2018 apart from Bethesda+ActiBlizard
 

I also counted for the endless investments they have made in bringing games to GamesPass. 
 

It’s been a pretty rough decade for games business at M$. 
 

 

You also included the numbers that have never been published, sure makes sense.

 

Also, Kinect for Xbox was a failure, but it is now Azure Kinect and still used by devs with active SDKs. Kinect was the most advanced tracking device which was ham strung by Xbox, not the other way around.

Similar news regarding internal Playstation work culture was posted in PS5 thread. 
 

There was no meltdown of course. 
 

 

Also the meltdowns & the laughable stock is mostly related to another game being in pre-production even 5 years on announcement. 
Rather than ppl suffering as some trying to portray. 
 

But whatever floats the boat I guess……

That's my point. We all know motive behind the post. None of these people ever post anything negative about PS. Harassment and sexism, crunch n all happening in PS for years but none of the loyalists ever post about those issues and continue to worship PS lol.

 

They actually happy this is happening in Xbox coz it gives them ammo to do more bashing of entire xbox division, even though its limited to one studio only lol.

 

f**k Undead labs. Its a shitty studio anyways. Im not hyped in SoD3 now

I personally didn’t post the news 

neither do I follow anything on internet.

 

I just felt it was funny that Phil Spencer was “excited of what he saw of SOD3” just 15 days ago. 
& Now it’s reported here that it’s been in pre-production infinitely like numerous other xyz projects at Xbox Game Studios. 
 

It is funny indeed & more than a single instance it’s the pattern that we have seen for last decades. 
Games get announced & then nothing materialises unless it’s Gears,Halo or Forza. 
 

As for ppl suffering & me or anyone else being happy on that…..I have little to comment or reflect on that thought.

There was no need to get PS into this, harassment news was posted there and discussed, hell even yesterday's 90 people laid off was brought up, not one person retorted with 'But this happens at Xbox too'.

 

When ActiBlizz harassment news (before MS acquisition) broke, it was posted and discussed too. PS was also discussed but there wasn't much details and incidents explained like kotaku article here.

 

Instead of ignoring or agreeing and moving on, you counter with console war stuff. Also, if you think I'm a clown and can't take any of my posts, please mute or block, I won't lose any sleep.

It’s a classic case of meltdown. 

Calling ppl out on just posting news or getting sarcastic of another delay/disaster in Xbox. 
 

Obviously ppl will laugh or find it funny if something happens repeatedly & then hype for next unseen XYZ project begins.
