I don’t really know if this makes any sense but just bumped into this.

The guy is claiming that just cause he is running the 30fps game in 120hrz mode on SX it’s giving him a “60 fps experience”.

I don’t think it makes sense…..someone should try & comment.

lolz .. 30fps game gives 60fps experience?

I think he just upgraded to 120 fps display from a 60 hz one.

You get low latency, even lower than 60 fps game on 60 hz display.

Well visually speaking it doesn’t change sh*t.

Infact it ads a sort of extra level of motion blur according to some.

Only & only if a game has a wavering fps like jumping 35-45 will it see any sort of difference where system built LFC will kick in & reduce (not remove judder).

Even that won’t be on the level that Insomniac’s coding based LFC offers.

Sometimes.....I just....wish that gamers, specially content creators needs to come to the side of PCMR once in their life....they wouldn't be this gullible and oblivious for a tech that exists for 9 yrs now.

Plus, they would know the difference of Hz, FPS, latency, response time better.

For content creators to come to PCMR (Outside of usual suspects like MOBAs, F2P Games, MMOs, Indies, Roguelikes etc.) - audience has to come to PCMR first (Good PC Gaming HW, not work HW that most have). For that, parts will have to be accessible. Right now - neither are parts accessible, nor can you buy any without feeling like you are getting scammed.

IMO Console is literally keeping the high graphics, AAA non-F2P, non-MTX games industry afloat at this point. If it was only left to PC, in this situation, most gamers would have moved on and most gaming companies would have shifted to F2Ps, ads or non-gaming craps like NFTs

Console gaming has been keeping AAA gaming alive since forever.

Not just now.

There was a time when DRM wasn’t afloat & developers had literally stopped releasing their games either altogether or day & date on PC.

PC was never the bread & butter for AAA games in history apart from a short period when gaming industry in general had crashed.

Anyone else facing this issue? Or have they fixed this.

On PC if you download a gamepass/windows store game you need to start it atleast once, MS does some sign-in stuff, then you can play offline if you want.

Dunno how it is on Xdabbas

down for maintenance is one thing but why does Xbox have DRM on digitally purchased games ?

Doesn't that message say that the person is game-sharing? It makes sense that it would need to be connected online to play. I can't check right now but it's the same with the Switch as well (because I'm traveling and had to connect to Wi-Fi in order to play).

Looks like a family or friends shared account.. If you have bought a game via your account and your Xbox is marked as My Home Xbox, then you don’t need to be online to play the game..

Yup. I played plenty of game pass games offline on Xbox (example Hellblade, Fallout4 and even Avengers) .  People who complaining about this either using shared account or just lying without actually testing it.
