Dollar exchange rate.

 

PlayStation India report to PS Europe and depends on GBP exchange rate apparently.

Series S is an easy pass coz of specs, series x is an easy pass coz of pc 

 

meanwhile xbox outperforming competition and growing yearly inspite of no 1st party games this year

Are you sure it was because of $ rate ? this happened sometime back and its not like MS will reduce the price once exchange rate is reduced right ?

This is speculation. Doubt price will come down officially. 

 

But we should get it lower than MRP anyways once stock is in abundance. Series S is already sub 30k new.

iPhones and other electronics also follow the basic ₹/$ exchange rate logic which is that pricing in ₹ is done such that it covers their best estimates of potential depreciation of ₹
