Hey guys, I (and others) have been getting a lot of complaints regarding some of the discussions in the PS5 and XSX threads. Specifically, the name calling and personal comments are getting out of hand, and it turns a lot of people away from being more active in these threads. There are some members who have made a habit of derailing these two threads and we won't allow that going forward. So please use this post as a general warning to everyone.   Many of us will soon have an Xbox Ser

Make them exclusive & distribute for free on Gamepass?!? :rofl: 


Only Reason Ninja Gaiden is partnering with Xbox for publishing & GamePass is because they know it’s going to be on PS5.

 

So did Disney with Indiana Jones.

 

M$ already tried the exclusivity stunt with Starfield,Redfall,HellBlade,HiFiRush,Grounded,Pentament & it didn’t work.

 

PS5 sales are the most important aspect of AAA games today!!

Basically that’s why M$ felt it a futile attempt after watching Starfield crumble in revenue that what’s even the point if we can’t make two of our biggest guns (CoD & MineCraft) help move our hardware!!

Better to become 3rd Party & have wishful thinking that GamePass might become Netflix in far far distant future when streaming is mainstream!!

Unless streaming becomes the norm in gaming, which I don't see happening anytime soon, I don't see GamePass doing anything substantial for MS. If COD didn't lead to a big increase in subs, what else will?

Xbox will be fully 3rd party by the time next gen starts. Its pretty much a given by what ms is doing. Console is not selling and sells at a loss as it is ,game development is risky and expensive.


Who could blame them? You have to look for other avenues to sell the games and recoup the costs.

Revival of Decade+ old dead franchises certainly won’t.

 

These are just minuscule fan fare service we are witnessing here by M$.

 

& even that they can’t withhold exclusively!!

Most of these don't have official release windows announced. It's just fantasy dates, pulling hopium out of their asses, and some of these were announced 4 to 5 years ago and still no launch windows.

 

Xbox has a bad habit of announcing wayyyy too early.

Exhibit A: ES6 announced in 2018 :/

If Phil even has a slight sense of how gaming works then right now MS should be making past Gears and Forza Horizon for PS5. The only 2 worthwhile franchises in their portfolio. 

 

Launch the latest Forza and gears for PS5 this holiday or even before Tsushima and other hit.

Even Xbox has crossplay off option now & even within Crossplay there is Console only Crossplay now!!

 

Distributing COD for free on PC atleast was the biggest mistake in COD history!!

Ya they needed to have some sort of plan to keep massive amounts of cheaters coming in through GamePass & not bothering about their investment into it….at bay!!

 

It was always on PC but $70 paid through Battle.net had value investment that couldn’t have been taken lightly & getting banned!!

 

But now all it takes is a new Activision account to keep playing the GamePass version.

 

Totally pathetic & short sighted by Pappu in Gaming!!
