I was talking about the parity bit as well.

I don't think Zhuge is talking about blocking games from appearing on GamePass. He's rather addressing the parity thing.

I feel like I read all this 3-4 days ago on IVG.

EDIT: Yeah same thread. And then Zodka posted it again without reading if it was posted before or not, basically wasting everyone's time again.

Yeah, was about to type the exact same thing.

This was posted few days ago, and Daniels tweet clarified that people are misinterpreting it, was clear MS does the same.

"To further clarify. None of these clauses mean "Make the other console version worse / make our console version superior". I don't know why people are interpreting it that way. The wording in both is very clear."

"If Xbox allowed raytracing and PlayStation didn’t, the Xbox version could still have raytracing. Because that would be a platform limitation for PS. If both Xbox and PlayStation support raytracing, then Capcom can’t only enable it on Xbox, they have to have it on PS5 too."

Almost like digging the same topic to sh*t on one side.

Rumor: Gears of War Developer The Coalition Working on New IP

Apparently, the team is not only working on a new installment in the Gears franchise, helping 343 Industries with Halo Infinite, and working on the recently reported Xbox Star Wars game, but The Coalition is also working on a new IP altogether.  According to Grubb, this third item on The Coalition's to-do list is probably a long way from release, but it's another project that will further expand the Gears of War developer's catalog.

According to our boy Jeff Grub. One of the most trusted and reliable voices in industry.

MS not f**king around if they paid big to get Indiana Jones and SW exclusive (or timed exclusive).

https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/konami-producer-teases-plans-to-outsource-more-ips-following-getsufumaden/

Quote

VGC first reported Konami’s softening of its stance over licensing its game properties earlier this year, in a report revealing that the company has outsourced a new Silent Hill game.

Konami’s Japanese bosses are understood to have historically pushed back against most pitches to outsource its key games brands, which is a big reason why previous pitches for Silent Hill games, such as one by Until Dawn studio Supermassive, weren’t greenlit.

However, following the disappointing performance of recent in-house titles Metal Gear Survive and Contra: Rogue Corps, VGC’s sources said the company has become more willing to contract outside studios for its major franchises.

In addition to Silent Hill, VGC was told that Konami has plans to work on Castlevania and Metal Gear Solid games via external companies, but any potential releases are still years away.

^^But I thought he should resign?!?

He makes such massive 360’s that he puts Phill(& predecessor)’s 180’s to shame!!!

How dare he say that we believe in generations & reveal a total of 2 big names as cross gen

While putting only 8 games in the pipeline for next gen only!!

Shame Shame

That 25 exclusive new IPs thingy is turning out to be true!

That is just a jumla coz Sony just couldn't stay silent anymore after M$ & shills just won't stop the invisible hype bandwagon & the internet was deliberately down playing Sony coz they just weren't providing any clicks

Though Sony is right on track with amount of PS5 content they have released/revealed

But if the news is indeed true, then sony is targeting their ps2 era greatness. 1800+ titles on that system in toto.

Ok Sire

Won’t post anything Console wars related now

won’t even reply to anyone posting such stuff

dude, why do you fall for these trolls? Let them be. The best response to troll posts is to change the topic. The moment you retaliate, you give them what they want - an audience. Just ignore them and talk about something you like.

If you see the last few posts, literally no one trolled or commented. He took offense by himself and started posting clapbacks (without any instigation of course).

Well, something triggered him for sure. Else why would he post? @AnK, dude, whoever trolled you, or is trolling you, just ignore ok. Its not worth it. Don't give them what they want.
