Actually Sony was the first one to enter the streaming market They just lacked the infrastructure & the funds to penetrate the market, their biggest USP was their library which they put at the forefront but realised without market penetration they can’t take it anywhere & they were way ahead of their time to do anything meaningful with it Google tried with its robust infrastructure but again lacked a market penetration risk investment plan, along with the lack of self owned library of course M$ is risking a lot of investment for it unlike the other two, I hope it pays off & core gaming only grows further Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

More than the execution, it's about how people feel about the service in general. It's meant for certain types of games (where frame drops don't matter) and mostly for casuals.. Streaming will always have an audience. It’s like watching a movie on your small mobile phone, as opposed to doing it on a big TV.
