dylanjosh
This concept is taken from The Outer Wilds right?
PhantomShade
They combined edge of tomorrow and a dozen of those Sigourney Weaver type "gritty grumpy woman in space vs aliens" films to make this
GeraltOfRivia
Sony / Housemarque may have to give away this as a PS Plus game like Resogun, or people will ignore it like Nex Machina.

No way a big 15 hour game will force you to restart everytime you die. That's f**king frustrating.
Guest
It keep change every time you die. Probably short game with some replayability. Players fight to survive a hostile planet that changes with every death.

CarbonCore
Its rogue-lite like Dead Cells. You get to keep all your upgrades, but every time you die you lose everything else and the world is different.
playstationdude
Dont know why they want to experiment so much. It would have been a killer linear SP game.

Its not an experiment, rogue-like and lite have been around since forever. Deathloop is another one doing similar thing.

Looks like the story itself is based around this person dying and re-exploring the world around them. So the game is designed with rogue-lite in mind, its not tacked on or anything. I myself I'm not a fan of rogue lites. Its never really clicked with me.
