Adjucator boss done, enjoying it more than last time as I know where to go and the order.

4-2 : Reaching the old hero is still tricky.

I'm considering platinuming the (PS3) game again, even did a few pure bladestone runs but too much, the multiple world and character tendencies also too much to keep in mind.

I saw though that the ps5 platinum is only 30-40 hours though compared to the 80 hour PS3 platinum.

I am playing as a knight, can you suggest an upgrade weapon to make things a little easier :P I know of a Sword in Shadow storm level that Skeleton guys one but i am unable to defeat those guys so dropped that plan.

Starting class doesn't matter.

Drop the idea that you are a knight.

It's just that hardly 2-3 soul levels that will be wasted.(they won't be : you will need strength to wield good shields anyway)

As for pure strength weapons, nothing overpowered early on, just pick the weapon whose moveset you like.

Magic weapons are overpowered as they scale with magic and you ll also need to level it up for spells.

But for starting for overpowering and in your situation, you need a weapon that doesn't scale with anything and you can instead push up health, like the dragon longsword : inbuilt fire damage which enemies are weak to.

ah cool thanks

Can you also tell me how to go towards the back of an enemy, There is no side dodge but i have seen people go behind easily and backstab enemies. But i cant seem to do it,i always get caught in enemies attack. Do you have to sprint for the backstab?

Roll into them when they attack if they are the fast enemies.

You ll be behind them.

Or circle them if they are slow : most enemies are.

sprint no.

The Main thing is luring one enemy at a time.

And also release the block button half a second before you want to backstab, otherwise you ll do a normal attack.

Works for most enemies :

Lock on to each enemy individually,

Circle them while holding block, release block when behind and attack.

For the skeleton guys, need to roll into them when they attack to be behind.

Also, consider spears.

I never liked spears but you can attack while holding the block button.

Infuse it with fire or magic.

Or don't infuse if going for pure physical but spears are more dexterity, but can infuse later on as you unlock.

That's why I suggest pushing up health and endurance more at the start till you find your preference,

therefore better to use already infused weapons like the crescent falchion or Kriss blade

Or theres an already infused dragon longsword in 2-2.

World 5 and 3 is weak to fire.

World 2 and 4 is weak to magic.

And magic still works in world 1, but physical piercing attacks are great in 1 as well.

Backstab and parry are very important in Souls game. Parry can be tricky based on the timings of different enemies. My personal rules for playing any Souls game:

- Never spam buttons, it will not get your anywhere because stamina management is the key to any souls game

- Never get greedy, only 2-3 hits at a time

- Invest souls based on the weapon of choice

- Mostly importantly, never let your self gang-b***ged by enemies

I was planning to beat the tutorial boss on the first try but I got cocky lol. At least I was able to clear Boletaria 1-1 in a single run.

The worst thing of the remake so far, they made Maiden in black weird. Why does she have Angelina Jolie lips and filthy feet

Old hero done

The run to the boss is the boss, only the final boss run beats it.

Level 45 or more already without any grinding for souls and without consuming boss souls, always retrieved lost souls.

27 health, 30 magic, 15 endurance, rest untouched and crescent falchion plus 3 is good for now.

Now might need to switch to a fire weapon for world 3 as all magic resistant enemies there.

Don't kill anyone on the way, just run.

Let the dragon fire and just as he begins his fire you start your run, you ll reach before time.

Is magic OP in this game? Finished 1-1 only till now, but the entire game has been a Duck Hunt Game with magic (Royalty Build). No need to parry or counter/backstab. Very little need to dodge (Only if you by mistake let some enemy come close to you, which rarely happens). Almost no stamina expenditure at all. MP pool is quite big and with the Ring you start with, it auto-refills in 1 min or so even if you somehow run out. The starting magic (Soul Arrow I think it was called) hits like a truck 1 shotting all mobs (2 shotting if they have some high health). All mobs die before they can get anywhere close to you. 1 hit of magic somehow takes almost 10% of 1.1 boss's health (+ Firebomb which also almost completely destroys the first boss).

Seems this game was made with magic in mind. Honestly, till now, magic is so good, I have to wonder why people will go melee at all. No wonder they nerfed magic so badly in other games (Dark Souls) or removed it altogether (Bloodborne/Sekiro)

@hope Play magic. Phalanx went down in the very first try I did (when I stumbled into the area). Soul Arrow ignored the slime's shields, and with that + firebomb - I finished the fight taking exactly 0 damage, never running out of stamina and with almost 1/2 MP bar still left (Used 0 mana potions/flowers). I've never been able to do this on a 1st Souls boss before, and the last time I felt so OP in BB/Sekiro was when I returned to the first area after finishing a late game area.

Ya magic is OP here. But i purposely went for Knight Melee build and trying to play like BloodBorne.

If it gets impossible then will go for Royalty :P

Phalnx i had no problems as well. My main problem is Spear dudes.

Did you try shadowstorm Skeleton level? Thats a challenging one.
