i don’t know bro

read this

AskPlaystation has no clue, the link they have given also doesn’t work. The PS4 version has free upgrade, they just don’t want to openly tell it out on the store page

The planned $10 upgrade program only rolls out post release.

It’s just that in case of HFW they won’t charge that $10 & it will be free.

In UC4,GT7 & GoW~R’s case they will charge,it has already been made clear.

Even if you contact customer support regarding UC4 collection they will tell you to pre-order PS5 version if you want that, coz they are usually clueless about things that aren’t listed yet.

GT7’s upgrade is Rs 1000 in India.  (Official source

$10 should ideally be around 700-750.

But Death stranding was again only 500.

Not sure what they are smoking :ko:

I may order the PS5 version soon anyways. :nerves:

Just for my interest, what is so attractive about steel books? it looks good but over time you get bored and eventually rid/sell it off over time.

Unless you are a collector edition, the steel book has no real additional value (some metal, art and sheets of paper) compared to the standard edition which I will sell after one or 2 walkthroughs.

For me the artbook. Love keeping them.

Steelbooks will be adequately available soon, but maybe not at launch.

I will just buy the standard version at launch and get the steelbook later once it becomes available easily.

Just like TLOU2 steelbooks, these things aren’t rare anymore like they used to be.

They are making more and more as the demand rises.

Maybe in the West. But definitely not in India. Best chances for Western AAA titles published by Sony.

All this is fine and all...

But what version should we get? Why the price is still 4k and 5k for ps4 and ps5 respectively when there is "FREE" upgrade? What am I missing? Why there is no talk on media regarding the price parity even after free upgrade announcement?
Did they kept PS5's price like that in hope to dupe people who don't know better?

Yes. I myself already pre-ordered ps4 disc which will get free upgrade to ps5 digital version. This will be available through in-game menu which links to PS store

There are different leisure for different people to pursuit. Others feels vague about it but the one who's interested loves them.

I've seen many likes to have all kinds of steelbooks for their personal collection

Some like to hoard as many games no matter if they play or not. Even Digital.

Few like to have collectors editions and figurines.

Xbox players like to have different colors of controllers

list like these goes on....
