You can try try Ayurvedic-home remedy, its a sureshot cure for knee/joints or any muscular pain.

Home made lotion of Gwarpatha (desi variety of Aloe Vera) heated up and mixed with Haldi

My condition is chronic. Does this help with that? And is this a balm or to be consumed?

It's not compared to the actual spike. No one cares. Then there's lockdown happening outside and when people mention it here, people suddenly become all economic gurus.

This is a pretty common sight. Accident se marr jaenge lekin Corona ko mauka nahi denge, and traffic police is also acting strange these days, letting such people, who's not wearing helmets or tripling on 2 wheelers or not wearing seat belts in the car, but catching guys who are not wearing masks and are collecting huge fines from them.

It's funny how keyboard warriors keep typing sh*t about economics from the comfort of WFH, while hundreds of millions dont have that option at all, and lockdown has lead many of them to the point of starvation and begging.

But no, how dare we point this out? God forbid a techie's comfy WFH is affected because of unlock. f**k the rest of India.

Just a simple google search will give you the reality, no need to even dig into articles. But why do that when you can bang away on gaming forums-:

"During the lockdown, an estimated 14 crore (140 million) people lost employment while salaries were cut for many others. ... Under complete lockdown, less than a quarter of India's $2.8 trillion economic movement was functional. Up to 53% of businesses in the country were projected to be significantly affected."

At least quote me if you're commenting  I assume you're a master at economics? Who's 'we' btw? If educated people like you stoop to such levels then it seems like the uneducated masses are much better off taking precautions. I guess there's no 'discussion' possible with you (Unlike what your blob of a post said, you stated your words of wisdom as facts rather than point something out, and then cried out as a victim.) I don't feel like you're even remotely connected to reality, or choose to stay in your own comfortable bubble and mingling with like-minded people.

Everything needs to be talked through but then we have keyboard warriors who put the stamp on their discussion which doesn't help anyone at all. That's such a strong a negative statement.

Coming back to the topic, this is f**king scary: https://www.reuters.com/article/health-coronavirus-lungs-int-idUSKBN27K00X

I didnt quote you the same way you didnt quote me when you took that potshot :loser:

I can post 50 articles by a simple google search that show how bad lockdown is for an economy like India. I dont have to be an "Economic Guru", as quoted by you, to know that

Your rationale for lockdown is purely based on Fear instead of numbers, its actually you who is not even remotely connected to reality. :)

Anyway, no OT post from my end now.

The other party also take potshots (Should I comment on you personally when I met you? Is that falling down to your level? ). It's like the gurus who posted that herd immunity is the only solution when things weren't even clear.

I too can post about 500 articles about the impact Covid has (I can even link 500 articles on how easy it is to become a multi-millionaire from google btw). Nothing is that plain and simple. Just to clarify, I didn't even post a rationale for lockdown, nor did I advocate for it. I merely commented how ruling it out blindly is the only option. No more OT from me.

This is better news: https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-nhs-to-be-on-standby-for-potential-vaccine-rollout-in-december-12122886

This is twice you've posted this nonesense. Im curious what you even mean by "Stooping to my level?" What does this sentence even mean? Do you even know me personally to say that to my face?

I guess you have 0 rationale to support lockdown but are just pissed on being called out.

Also compairing facts from authorized agencies to clickbait google articles on get rich quick scheme. Talk about being delusional

I don't think you have to be a master of economics to know that the lockdown truly and utterly f**ked the finances of a lot of people. Our economy was already f**ked due to the after effects of the IIFL crisis and then covid just trashed everything.

Obviously in an ideal situation, we would have a partial lockdown until vaccine came out. Right now though, we have to take precautions to the maximum possible extent. Otherwise Bhagwaan bharose hi hai.
Yeah totally, or people themselves impose a voluntary lockdown to minimise going out. Here I see people going out Willy nilly without masks.

A friend got his wife tested for corona in Faridabad, the person taking the test just had a mask, no ppe etc. This was when he had informed prior that his wife had all the Symptoms, i.e. fever, loss of smell etc.

It's all bhagwaan bharose now.

and while we're here sink your teeth into this head scratcher

Quote

Goa is Fun’s Own Country. But it doesn’t need ‘super-spreader’ Sunburn festival

Sunburn, the controversial Indian electronic dance music festival, will return to Goa this December, and the announcements look something like this: “Party People Might Have a Chance to Redeem Themselves this Year with Sunburn 2020.”

Wait, did I not get the memo about the Covid-19 pandemic being over? Does Goa not have one of the highest deaths per million rate in the country? To make matters even more confusing, the tagline for the event this year is “Live Again” — a bit on the nose considering the fact that there have been more than 82 lakh coronavirus cases so far in India......

https://theprint.in/opinion/pov/goa-is-funs-own-country-but-it-doesnt-need-super-spreader-sunburn-festival/536647/

I cannot even tell you what a horrible idea this is.

Well sadly like the Americans and Europeans we can't just print more money. One lockdown was disastrous another one would just kill everyone. So yeah the spike is there but the fear ain't no more.

Talking about keyboard warriors. My very close friend who did a MBA from Paris and was doing really well in an Indian internet tech company left India last year to start a food startup in Oz which was again a hit. He had returned in Jan for some Visa related work and was here till March and couldn't return to Oz obviously. Now he can't go back and is jobless. So what he does? Applies for min two jobs a day and sits and curses modi at every opportunity as he is unemployed. It has become his favourite pass time to go on social media and trash modi and meet me once a week and again trashes modi but while being drunk.

So you can't deal with keyboard warriors. You simply don't know their motivation

I don't even reply to their bait. I just make my point and move on.

Another lockdown for India is like signing a Death Warrant for millions. We just can't afford it. PERIOD.

People being shameless is the problem, I got a video from the manager of a PUB i used to frequent. The PUB has place filled almost 90% with people dancing with No mask, and he asks me sir we are back, when do i get to see you. I was all Kohli in my reply to him...

Yeah it makes total sense. I wasn't even advocating a lockdown but these keyboard warriors are in their old world . Half of the businesses swindle every paisa they get, pay no tax, etc and yet blame the tax-paying populace when things don't go according to their plan. I've made it a point to not reply to such fools, that was my bad.

The problem is that people here don't take anything seriously, clubs, pubs etc are crowded. Gyms are. People are disobeying all forms of sense. There's a "colleague" who is a douche. His wife tested positive for Corona, he didn't inform his landlord who live on the ground floor (and 3 of them are 65+ years), because they would restrict his movement. He definitely would be COVID +ve as he was with his wife for 5-7 days, yet he argues (like the keyboard warriors here) that  "I need to go to market, don't worry I put my 3-ply mask and glove so nobody will catch my infection". f**kers like these need to be :chair:

I get having to brave crowds to get to work and such, but the thought of going to any of the places you spoke of sends shivers down my spine. What sort of crap for brains do people (not just in India) have? One of our project managers in Spain was so excited that the clubs were opening again. I was thankful I'm not part of her team  Like wtf?
