Big Boss
RTI is a f**king waste. Especially the online RTI. I get response only when I file offline. No one cares about online RTI in Maharashtra.

Just that you have an opinion about this, they have their own reasons/apprehensions about this. You can hate them for it but this is what it is. And personally I would've loved to have moderna here. OK. File an RTI with DCI. So you do agree that there are no sources, just plans built for chest thumping, not based on science or evidence and not for the benefit of the citizens ? Not approving non home vaccinations ? Playing petty politics over vaccine shortages ? Ruling party, including PM organizing rallies in election states, with nary a thought for the voter who might die if he/she comes to that rally ? They state that buildings with more than 5 cases get sealed yet my own complex had more than a dozen cases spread across multiple flats (6-7) and no one came, no sanitization or anything. Even when my sister's report came positive some lady called and said local doctor will call her and suggest supportive medication since they were asymptomatic and no one called, I had to break home quarantine, visit my family physician and get the medicine. This is not due to the sudden spike too, I've posted in the same thread how they didn't give a sh*t last year too when the cases were relatively low and how they compared to Karnataka govt officials who were in touch when my father was infected. I would say this is the case at most places ? Also, are apartments getting sealed or just placed under observation ? Here, in Noida, the DM announced that apartment with 5 cases will be places under observation (no sealing), full movement will be allowed. Only difference being a pre determined area around that apartment will be checked more frequently for COVID cases. Also, non home vaccinations are an issue as existing dosing isn't enough. Heck, @blitzkreiig hasn't developed any AB following vaccination with CShield. I know of at least 6 doctors who complained the same. One of them had his whole family vaccinated in Feb, and the whole family turned positive last week, and is admitted in Medanta. His mom's kidneys gave up (most likely AKI), and is under dialysis. The guy is a nephrologist (ironically). At least a heterogeneous group of vaccines will increase chances of herd immunity, while also giving an idea of what vaccines are evoking humoral AB production in Indians. Houndini
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/ahmedabad/rt-pcr-negative-but-you-may-still-be-infected-by-coronavirus/articleshow/81957816.cms Quote Doctors across the state are coming across an increasing number of cases where patients test negative in RT-PCR but their high-resolution CT (HRCT) reveals significant infection in the lungs. The problem has become so acute that the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has issued a notification stating that the current strain of Covid-19 does not necessarily show a positive test on RT-PCR but the insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPAs) should treat them as Covid. “In cases where RT-PCR is negative but findings in HRCT and lab investigations are suggestive of viral etiology, the claim should be treated as that of Covid unless proved otherwise,” states VMC’s order issued under the Epidemic Diseases Act “I have come across patients who have tested negative in RT-PCR but their radiological tests revealed they require hospitalization. One patient’s score is 10 out of 25 in CT scan. This means that his lungs have already got affected,” said Dr Krutesh Shah, president of SETU, an Association of Private Hospitals of Vadodara. Seeing this in Delhi too. HRCT is the only confirmatory diagnostic now.

I don't want to go for HRCT and then catch corona from there.
