It has already signed with other manufacturers so just a matter of time. Zycov is from Cadilla and since CA has is a giant and has its own pipeline from trials to manufacturing to distribution, June end seems a decent bet. It has followed all of the regulations perfectly because of DRL and technology transfer to Panacea is done and is underway for 4-5 more manufacturers. Total volume is around 500M mark to be delivered by Aug-Sept with production underway. It did seem like meme vaccine but that's how polio vaccine began as well. Dr. Albert Sabin, a Russian, developed the oral version of the vaccine and gave it directly to his family members and then exposed them to virus because the trials were not being sanctioned. I will have to find the link but their latest study showed that although it is less effective against SA variant but efficiency is still pegged above Covaxin and upto par or better than Pfizer and Moderna.
