Bhpian Bali
Prepare for a full blown lockdown. I was sure that they are going to marinate us the first week and then announce a lockdown. Expect a lockdown starting monday evening. People are being treated in hospital's lift lobby, 960 mt of oxygen used out of 1200 mt total production already and more such horror stories. 3 hours ago, KnackChap said: Bangalore. Contact tracing has to be a sham everywhere. There are several cases in my society plus my sister was infected and no one has come to check on us even here. Dumb inlaws thought it is a good idea to visit us first week of may when India is seeing such crazy number of cases in the recent wave I have been subtly giving them hints that they should postpone the visit. If possible, ask your in-laws to postpone the visit by 6 months - 1 year. At 1.5 years old, I don't think your kid's immunity system is fully developed yet. Don't take risks right now with your kid man, even if your relatives quarantine themselves. Let the situation stabilize a bit and your kid grow a bit older, before exposing your kid to any risk. You even said your relatives are travelling from abroad, better to ask them to keep away. Just my opinion. Anyway, stay safe and hope you, your kid and all your family keep well and healthy. KunjanPSD
My college got permission to vaccinate the faculty, staff and hostelers via Covaxin. I might get a chance too so will get it but seeing the recent updates, we should get: Sputnik: May-June Approval Zycov: July-Aug Approval Novavax: Sept Approval J&J (if all goes well): Sept-Oct Approval Bharat Nasal Spray Vaccine: Nov-Dec Approval Third booster for Covidshield and Covaxin are currently in trials as well, it is specifically for the new variants. KunjanPSD
Just now, Mr. Comingle said: Yes you should definitely wait for your preferred vaccine getting approval because things are very systematic and vaccines are available in abundance so you can pick and choose. Lol, I was just telling about the status of things. I did say that if I get the chance I will get whatever my college is offering. I am not waiting.
