Maybe the doctors want to try everything they can. I have seen quite a lot of cases in my extended family and close friends (Delhi), out of those many high risk patients were prescribed favipiravir. Tldw there is nothing to worry about, every pandemic has multiple waves and then it dies a natural death. He was at a distributors' place. Useless Chinese oximeters sold in bulk for about 300-350 a week back are now 1200-1300 (B2B). Consumer cost will be wild. Middleman price gouging is crazy.
