Unfortunately no.

My dad's elder sister (she's 85+) and her whole family turned positive, and we are struggling to get a bed for her.

Situation is even more dire.

My friend isn't able to find Fabiflu 800/1800MG in stock anywhere. Even other brands are oos.

Yeah. Short expiry, low production and high demand is to blame. People are also stocking up.

No hospital beds, no drugs. People stocking up.

I am seeing the plight of the people first hand, my friend has been running around trying to get any lead.

Seriously, where did all our tax money go? Spent in rallies and to fill the pockets of the corrupt.

We don’t even use favipiravir, wonder why they are prescribing it

I don't know. Maybe the doctors want to try everything they can. I have seen quite a lot of cases in my extended family and close friends (Delhi), out of those many high risk patients were prescribed favipiravir.

Guys watch this if you get the time. This is primarily stock market related however he discusses current Covid situation in India as well. Tldw there is nothing to worry about, every pandemic has multiple waves and then it dies a natural death. Covid will be mostly gone by 2022

Nothing to worry about? Seriously?

Except the fact that millions of people are suffering every day and it makes everyone anxious for fear of self/loved one contracting it?

Sorry I mean just take normal precautions. Wear mask, social distancing, etc. No need to panic I mean.

I know what you mean. It's just everyone is mentally tired right now I think.

Yeah. Friend is a pharmacist, and I was getting some meds from him yesterday.

He was at a distributors' place. Useless Chinese oximeters sold in bulk for about 300-350 a week back are now 1200-1300 (B2B). Consumer cost will be wild.

Middleman price gouging is crazy.
