Bruck Pharma, Mumbai police and Fadnavis in late night fracas.

https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/mumbai/bruck-pharma-mumbai-police-and-fadnavis-in-late-night-fracas-7278350/

So basically it goes like.

- A pharma company making remdesiver was sitting on a stockpile of 50-60k vials after exports were banned.

- Fadnavis and co approached him, got all the necessary permission since they can't sell locally.

- apparently this was communicated to the state FDA minister and they were to hand it over to CM.

- yesterday night the owner of the pharma company was threatened and picked up by the police and was released without charges only after Fadnavis and co intervened.

We cannot talk about this pandemic, without the politics, everything is so intertwined.

We just have too much of it with too less of real governance.

Not much different from the drama ensuing in US at the time of peak crisis

a bit more dramatic here nonetheless

This Virus pulls out the biggest flaws in a democratic regime

Us democratic ppl are just not cut out for crisis management of this magnitude

Yeah, democracies have limitations.

But this kind of cheap politics and abdication of governance is not seen anywhere else.

Neighbour uncle died just a few minutes back. Don't know who will be alive or dead 2 weeks later.

How much blood do the current administators have on their hands? Some are operating not with incompetence, but outright malice.

Small study but Steam inhalation seems beneficial.

No harm taking it twice...

I won't recommend this. First, study was done on 10 asymptomatic Heathcare professional patients. 2nd, taking too much or too hot steam has its own disadvantages. It can lead to burns, dehydration etc. Our people have tendancy to overdo sh*t. 3rd, out of those 10 people, not all got benefits.

These take steam, take hot water, take haldi water treatments must be taken only on recommendation of doctor treating you. No need to put your respiratory system under unnecessary stress. So many doctors have said that burn patients and gastro intestinal problem patients increased since Covid due to taking too hot steam or the "kadhas" 3 times a day.

Wearing N95 masks, minimal social interaction and staying at home are the only things that work, and even if you catch coronavirus, the initial viral load will be too low to cause severe symptoms. Also taking vitamin C, zinc, Vitamin D regularly with consultation of a doctor helps, as even too much of vitamins can cause their own side effects.

An Air Force officer lost his wife and three relatives to Covid-19 in a span of two weeks in Lohegaon in Pune. His mother and two children also tested positive for the virus and are undergoing treatment.

What a shitshow. ??

In last 3 days, 3 people close to my family have passed away.

Out of them 1 was a 35yr old women. Oxygen was hovering around 92. They weren't able to find a bed to get her admitted.

She was feeling tired and went to sleep but hours later when she did not respond to people calling her out, it was found that she was unconscious. They checked her oxygen and it was 40!

She was basically dead at that point. Quite shocking.

A bit of negligence from the family as well because oximeter should always be connected to patients while they are going to have a sleep.

I feel really sorry for them, can't even imagine what they must be going through.

Stay safe guys. Don't step out if it's not an emergency.
