In West bengal all the netas went and took vaccines openly when it was launched for Health care workers in Jan. When i took my parents for their first dose a local politician belonging to congress party (now hangs a BJP flag outside his bunglow) cut the line and took the vaccine without making any payment. Our family doctor said no point in getting tests done. As no lab is available or willing to tests patients, Plus even if u get a slot it will take 3 days for them to test and then another 3-4 days for results to come. he adviced some medicines and asked to get her isolated. its a pretty sad state in Delhi. A city getting more numbers than UP and almost half the number as Maharashtra. The situation is so bad i wouldnt mind going back to april 2020 if nothing else is possible. Many doctors are getting re-infected even after getting the second shot. Some of them are down with severe disease as well. Also look at politicians.
