A colleague in office had fever 3 weeks back and was taking general medicines at home. Was admitted 2 days back because of difficulty in breathing and passed away as the lung infection has spread. He was just 26 :(

I was already anxious for the last 2 days and after hearing this I panicked and went to a hospital. The doctor there first scolded me hard for few mins for coming out of quarantine, but then ran few tests and thankfully all looked good. Either I am unlucky to have 2/2 false +ives or very very lucky to have brushed the virus(even after taking all the precautions) and things dint get worse.

Talking to her was such a relief. She was so kind, soft spoken and re-assuring. Felt a strong urge to cry while talking to her as I was really really scared yesterday. Respect for doctors and medical staff increased ten folds.

This is getting out of hands :(  Stay safe everyone and stay strong. Best wishes to you and your family.

Dude don't worry. Watch some movies or something which diverts your mind. Or watch porn. The virus causes severe symptoms in 2-5% cases. If you don't have major symptoms in first 7 days after onset of any symptom, you are good. It was a mild infection. Just keep checking oxygen for whole month. People with reduced Oxygen level to 90 etc also recovered at home under medical supervision on call. So relax. And take your positive test as positive. A mild or asymptomatic infection now is as good as 2 doses of vaccine. Just do antibody test after 1 month of symptoms/positive test. And do any other tests which doctor suggests after recovery like D Dimer or whatever.

Is this UP ? Because this was the law in UP until a journalist died some days ago, and people got really pissed off and an order was issued.

I have to appreciate how Delhi HC ripped the governments a new one. f**king SC had to intervene. Mofos.

Yup the CMO permission was UP. The other one was/is Gujarat. I'm not sure about other states but this is some BS. It's like a bunch of kindergarten students were made officer for a day.

Yup SC FFS should just mind their own business. HC are being terribly efficient in doing what's needed.

:wallbash:This exhange . Very hard to believe this is the SC.

People have shown utter idiocy.

Things were good between Dec-Feb, in early  March itself It became common sense to avoid crowded places.

I am a devout but I don't ever step in temples which are crowded, not just in Covid times but before that too. I usually pray from outside and carry on.

And you can never say he was infected in Kumbh, he could very well be the one of those who took it there.

Parents got the second dose today. Phew. Now they just need to sit at home for few months to ride this out hopefully.

Uncle's was a little harder to set up. He took the first dose at Hinduja because it was close to his place. Tried to register him for the second dose and nothing in the pin code. Had to register him for 2nd one at KEM on the 24th.
