A large part of vaccine exports were part of contractual obligations which India entered with AstraZeneca. But govt created a lot of PR giving itself and everyone an illusion that India is donating/exporting on its will. Its not that it doesn't but entire thing was blown way out of proportion. Vasudaiva Kutumbkam, World's pharmacy and crapplola. Looking at all that it exposed India's unpreparedness to vaccinate its own population, lack of a time-bound program put out in public space. But I feel the general point is correct right? That only giving one dose could lead to mutations. Please also note Fauci says "theoretical", so dunno if its actually happened yet. N95+3ply+Wildcraft. Bought a shield too. Sprayed the shield with disinfectant spray before putting it on inside the car and immediately regretted doing it inside as you end up inhaling quite a bit.
