Is McDonalds drive thru a bad idea? I'm still debating, wanna try next week....

Get McCain fries and Venky’s nuggets, if you are really really having McD craving.

Burger you can make yourself at home and. It will be much much better.

Get it home, transfer food to clean utensil, microwave for few mins, you should be good.

Personally i have not eaten out or ordered anything from 1st week of March, and somehow don't feel like doing it too.

I personally won't risk it for the pissy food that McD serves. If you wanna go that way get food from a good restaurant.

I'm a little bit of McDonalds fanboy, even if its not exactly the best gourmet restaurant in town.

Been going to the exact same McDonalds since 16 years now, and I always go on my birthday. Don't wanna break the streak if I'm being honest :bigyellowgrin:

AND I miss their junk food lol. Reheating just ruins it imo, but thank you I'll think it over.

Apologies if this sounds childish.

I am also a huge McDonald's fanboy. Their fries are the best in India, even in US. I used to order from McDonald's every week, I simply miss them. But then I ordered fries from big basket and they tested exactly like McDonald's fries. That was some relief. Tried making burger at home too, but the buns by big basket are horrible. They taste like big paavs. Never buying again.

Check your local bakery for burger buns.

The ones we get locally are pretty awesome, with either Til seeds or Posto seeds on the top. Totally moved away from the chain burger shops - at least in Delhi NCR, none of the them are worth it. Most patties are fried in reused reheated oil, which taste horrible.

I still remember a Burger King Veg burger I had at Changi  - the only veg burger they had - and it was so much better in taste and fresher than what I've tasted in most fast food outlets at Delhi. Patty was fresh, you could taste the potatoes and other veggies, no smell of oil etc.

Fresho bread is horrible. Way too dry and crumble very quickly.

This one of the better brands out there. Their bread and burger buns are super. My parents are such huge fans that whenever I visit them I have to take 2 breads with me as it is only available at a nearby shop in my area.

I love making burgers using their burger buns. they dont crumble etc even after using them beyond their best before date.

We are cool.

Free Lesson for MoH:

If you want to see Cases against a million population then you need to see "tests per million" and "hospital beds per million"

Can't be selective.

Fact is India has lost the fight. Because Lockdown wasn't enforced  stringently and  when lockdown was lifted, hordes of people came in from the states, in the states which were shielded.

Aassam, Karnataka, UP, Bihar and Kerala did so well that they had almost crushed it. Now they are gonna explode.

With the economic and social environment in our country, that was a forgone conclusion. There is no way it was ever going to get controlled.

Nationwide Lockdown would never work in this country, it is not China or Vietnam with the whole authoritarian setup make it possible, neither does our country have the status of global manufactures like the aforementioned countries that the government surpressing the real figures would be met by a blind eye by everyone.

This disease is unironically a one with which you have to live with, for the sarkar, health agencies it is like a game of whack a mole but more and more moles pop up whatever you do.

I think this disease is a death knell for our country's economy, investment and jobs, we will become like Brazil and SA, without even being middle income countries :/

Politics is art of keeping appearances. It works most of the time....but you can't hide the deadbodies for long.

Lockdown has failed because Central government didn't want to get into business of Law&Order of states. They should've shown the balls and brought in the ordinance to  take over the State Police. States like Delhi, MH and TG have 4-5 years for next state elections, so they didn't care at all.

I know we are not like China but this country dosn't deserve federalism, the local satraps think of themselves as kings and behave like one.

inb4 they use inflation on everything to save the economy

In India, inflation mostly comes via oil prices because thats the biggest import.

Right now oil prices are at low level and state/central govt have inflated the taxes but since consumption is low, inflation won't cross 8%.

Lol that is some immense Satya vachan right there, everyone from the cops to the municipal corp to the state CMs and their darbar all behave like Nawabs and Nizams

Arbitrary total lockdown and rules without prior warning, harassing shop keepers and delivery boys for bribe, and on the state level its much worst.

Btw central govt didn't bother sending in CRPFs because otherwise certain elements would on purpose start riots or whatever and peddle the narrative of "police brutality" or "modi govt oppressing xyz group", some numbers being boosted is still less of a mess than CAA-NRC style protests and repeat of Delhi riots on a smaller scale in certain places

Just yesterday some fat a**hole kid was spitting everywhere and at dogs especially, along with his gang of other 5 older ruffians, unironically he was looking to pick up a fight i think, and this is just some random kid and his group of ruffians, imagine a large group trying to bait armed CRPFs or some other paramilitary group.

Well despite being a McD fanboy, I do like burgers in general. Would recommend Carl's Jr, fantastic grilled burgers.

But since you mentioned you ate a vegetarian burger, then probably not. Veg choices in burgers are pretty limited.

Carl's Jr has dipped in quality like anything. After launch, they were really good, but I tried them about 6 months back, and they are not like when they launched.

Among veg, the only grilled option is Paneer, and my motto is f**k paneer, so. :censored:

Even their fries and onion rings have dipped in quality.

Johny Rockets was amazing, but they closed their outlet in Delhi. :(
