Carl's Jr has dipped in quality like anything. After launch, they were really good, but I tried them about 6 months back, and they are not like when they launched.

Among veg, the only grilled option is Paneer, and my motto is f**k paneer, so. :censored:

Even their fries and onion rings have dipped in quality.

Johny Rockets was amazing, but they closed their outlet in Delhi. :(

Best veg burger I had in India is American cheese supreme veg in MCD. Burger King burgers are meh and fries are also meh. In US it was Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich (in US, beef patty means burger and non beef patty means sandwich lol) from McDonald's. I loved it, and the shakes there are way better than we get in India. McDonald's near my place was 24x7 and I even went there at 12am on weekends and ate in peace. Other burgers are mostly beef and they taste just bad, not good for Indian test buds. However all major fast food joints introduced chicken burgers there as people started preferring chicken. Johny Rockets is great there, so is Wendy's. White castle was eh.

However, nothing compares to the taste of local diners. The food their is yummy and the atmosphere is great. I made sure I always are in local diners whenever possible. Authentic American experience. I just f**king love burgers. f**k THIS CORONAVIRUS FOR KEEPING ME AWAY FROM BURGERS.

Right? There's just something amazing that happens when you put food between 2 pieces of bread. :P I've been making different sandwiches at home. Different breads, different cheeses etc

so, its 30k+ cases and no signs of peaking yet even after 5 months of lockdown :(  Is there any hope for getting out of this mess ? Or is this the new reality for some time to come :(

Today is a good day.

Delhi below 10% positive, Mumbai below 25% after many days, Karnataka % reduced with more tests done.

I think we should have ~31k new cases today.

eating out, going out to movies, long drives/vacations or just simply playing a good game of badminton on a lazy weekend .... list of things I'm missing currently - goes on & on. Earlier, looking at all those indie/freelancers' wfh videos, I used to wonder about how nice would it be to work at home instead of spending 3-4 hours in commute everyday, and now I just can't wait for the things to go back to normal

Not to mention the crazy weight i'm putting on thanks to no sports/exercising !

Am surprised people are bored(?) of working from home. As someone who is working from home for past 11-13 years, I can't see myself having a proper schedule and travelling to work every day.

Waking up anytime, working anytime, eating and sleeping while working, play/watch TV while working, wear anything and not worry about office-y stuff, too many perks for WFH.

This. Wfh is the best thing about lockdown for me. I prefer to wfh forever if given a chance.

It doesn't really work like that for me.  I tried all that, but finally realized that sticking to a routine is the best way to get stuff done.  I still do coding / debugging most of the days which requires fresh mind / focus, both of which requires good amount of sleep and a routine that I can stick to.  I find it difficult to even work on the couch/bed etc unlike many others.  Only advantage of wfh for me is the extra 1-2 hours of sleep i get in the morning, and perhaps a chance to watch a movie in the night even on week days.   Also, collaborating over teams/slack/skype or whatever else is just not the same as in-person meetings/discussions.

Might all feel like first world problems, but yeah, in summary, wfh is only good once in a while for me, for extended period of time, I'm simply not liking it as much as I though I would initially !

Exactly from last 3 years i have been working fromhome too, and if some time i am called to work even for a day, it starts giving me the shivers from a week before :P

With my hand set on cooking, only thing i miss badly is to pick my bike and go riding when i want, where i want. Secondly meeting frends for mid night coffee at shell select at shell petrol pump, Everything is pretty much BAU.

Love how everyday misses going back to work for going out for food/drinks with coworkers [emoji23]

At the same time, the freedom that comes with WFH sounds extremely appealing.

Yup the only positive thing is WFH for me. I am never bored because I am working and if I want some time on my own well then I have a lot of time saved from commute and also weekends! So its a good balance!

The best thing is that I am in my hometown where I prefer to live instead of NCR. Those shitty traffic jams give me the creeps. I am afraid to even think of going back and drive my bike for more than an hour in that horrible traffic!!

Yeah, if this continues till end of the year, it would be really hard to motivate ppl to come back to work I guess :D

Even in my office, many have gone back to their hometowns.  I'm wondering if companies would see the bright side of reduced rent and other real estate expenses, and convert this arrangement into a permanent one ?
