I just got it done since i was getting some other test for my mom at home and just appended my test. Also no option for choosing ELISA or CLIA, atleast on the app i booked. It just said igG Covid Antibody. (Lab was thyrocare) Try suburban. They have options. I went for "Total" test. It's weird that you don't have IgG even after 28 days. What about IgM? I use 1mg for booking and two labs offer the antibody test - thyrocare and some lab called Aarti. and no separate option to choose igM as well Yeah , this put me in backseat to an extent that i started doubting the RTPCR test result from a month back. But for now will assume its just too early and will repeat one more test after 2-3 more weeks. Will try to get it done in some other lab if available Edited May 12, 2021 by Pacifier

One of my reasons for antibody tests was to determine if it was really Covid. When all 3 came positive in antibodies and I didn't, I relaxed a bit. Do total test from other lab if you get a chance. Though false positive in RTPCR is very rare compared to false negative.

Yeah, agreed. My understanding was also the same regarding false positive. Me and my dad both tested positive on same sample collection day, so there shouldn't be two false positives as well. Also my D-Dimer went high as well which later came down on medication. Will get retested after few more weeks. fingers crossed.

Don't want to take the risk of standing in line with 3000 people mostly older and obsolete. I've cut off all contact with the outside world. Zero contact deliveries. Can sustain this way easily until vaccines are as easily available as ciggy's.

KnackChap
I think the advisory panel recommend it to the govt so it'll be their decision but I doubt they'll go over 3 months though. The advisory also says recovered person should wait for 6 months before taking vaccine. Hmmmm...
