Choicemmed is old and trusted. We have used it in hospitals too.

Does the Pulse Oximeter which is part of many samsung phones like S8, S7Edge do the same ? Or do we need a dedicated device? It also measures the oxygen saturation and gives out a % value.

Please let us know your thoughts on that.

Can't comment tbh. A lot depends on the perfusion index of the machine. Deeper the light penetration, better readings. Hence most Oximeters will also have a PI count on them.

People here are obsessed with c category people :p :p

All I see in this thread is talk and ridicule of people who aren't following guidelines according to 'them'

The category C people are getting ridiculed because they are not following guidelines given by people who actually know what they are talking about and trying to keep themselves and the people around them safe from the infection.

Category C also know what they are talking about and know the risks but they don't mind the risk and understand every other category.

But upper category pretend to be elitist,

and it's great and commendable that  they are taking precautions but it needs to stop pretending that they are caring for the world.

Protecting oneself and their closed ones is admirable and perfectly great but drop the act.

No one here is talking about upper category, so you need to stop with the victim card and drop the act. You're just pissed cause people pointed out what you re doing is stupid and now you are trying to cover it up by being all philosophical and making these ' Category ' posts. So please just STFU

I m not the one who has been bringing it up again and again.

I am not pissed at all about my stupidity

but don't like the posts here sometimes when someone who is not following 'your' guidelines are laughed at and called names.

Kisi Ko raste ki Paani Puri khaana hai to khaye, what's it to call them chutia etc. (Just an example - not pointing at any particular post but many have been in the same tone)

They also know the risk and they are fine with it,

you all know the risk and are following and that's great.

Isn’t that the whole point ?

In a pandemic if you just protect urself and your loved ones you are doing society a great favor.

You are stopping the spread of disease.

Yes they work absolutely fine, i tested with my dad S8 and an oximeter, both had almost same readings with a deviation of 1 point.

They are not  'my ' guidelines, but by doctors and scientists.. you know the people who are trying to save everyone.

And no... not everyone is aware of the risks because there no one to tell them what they are doing is wrong and it's affecting others. Its more of a chalta hai, mereko kuch nahi hoga attitude.

Everyone (most) has a smart mobile now and everyone is active and most are aware of the risks.

Yes, it's chalta hai and also ho Gaya toh ho Gaya attitude.

I was thinking to buy Accu-sure’s
cuz it’s German & I like to avoid a China ka item (not for ideological reasons)
