A lot depends on the perfusion index of the machine. Deeper the light penetration, better readings. I am not pissed at all about my stupidity but don't like the posts here sometimes when someone who is not following 'your' guidelines are laughed at and called names. Kisi Ko raste ki Paani Puri khaana hai to khaye, what's it to call them chutia etc. (Just an example - not pointing at any particular post but many have been in the same tone) They also know the risk and they are fine with it, you all know the risk and are following and that's great. In a pandemic if you just protect urself and your loved ones you are doing society a great favor. You are stopping the spread of disease. Yes they work absolutely fine, i tested with my dad S8 and an oximeter, both had almost same readings with a deviation of 1 point.
