You usually get a dip around sunday-monday and things start going up again. Let's hope it's not the case this time. ?

I think we did well today again. :)

Don't see testing dropped except in UP, where they tested 30K less.

Every celeb/leader who was contracted, has announced on twitter.

Shivraj Singh, Amitabh, Scindia, AMS, Sambit Patra, Sanjay Jha

AS had swine flu few years back, he announced it too.

If leaders themselves hide it like its a stigma, what commoners would do?

I wonder why powerful people don’t get nastily affected like commoners, inspite of being old?

Priority care? Does this mean most lives could have been saved if proper healthcare facilities were available?

Stay safe bro. Nothing to worry about, just take necessary precautions.

Ya ya, as a matter of fact entire society is pretty calm about it. Three floors have been sealed, the one in which the person is residing, and a floor above and below. Rest is BAU, but need to be a bit more careful as not sure what all places did the person visit within the society.

That's a very wrong assumption. Celebs and powerful people get more attention if they get a disease, is all.

Yes, they do not have constraints on wallet, they can go abroad for treatment....but they are vulnerable as anyone else out there.

Healthcare facilities can be improved no doubt. But we gotta understand in a populous country like ours, infra will be always lagging behind what is  needed. Leave India, in the US 45k people die every year because they cannot afford healthcare.

Avoid roaming around within the society as much as possible.
If the person is home quarantined, it means the symptoms are very little or he's asymptomatic.

Also for transmission you should be in contact with the patient for 10-15 mins apparently.
Just wear masks and keep sanitising if you go out.

Stay safe :)

Many of my relatives have contracted and recovered from Covid.

> Majority had mild/moderate symptoms and recovered at home. Many more others must have been asymptomatic.

> Some had to be admitted to hospitals for moderate/severe symptoms and are recovering now. Pre emptively admitted my mother-in-law for just mild symptoms because we thought she was at high risk of developing stronger symptoms later, and it turned out great. Hospital discharged her 4-5 days later.

> One person had to be admitted to ICU because of his and his wife's stubborn denial despite showing increasing symptoms for more than a week. His scan showed pneumonia affecting 30% of his lungs, and his Covid report came out negative (false negative). The report itself said there was 44% chance of false negative and doctors advised not to rely on that report, but he didn't listen. Don't be like this guy.

They did Aanti-gen test?

Protocol is if Anti-gem comes negative for symptomatic patient, RT-PCR test is done.
