Big Boss
I once went to Mahabaleshwar on a weekday to avoid crowd. Guess what, along with usual crowd there were a couple of school trips too which crowded the tourist spots even more. India's greatest strength and weakness is the same: Population. And how does the deadly Delta that we all need to be scared of, have a .08% death rate, thats even lower than regular COVID. And again unless my brain is to the left, it looks like the >50, or older than 50 crowd get hit with this. <50 or younger than 50 not so much. Can someone explain this to me that I am a retard and I got it all mixed up? [/QUOTE] what does this mean pls give proper link

Demographic dividend might turn into demographic liability if the growth is uncontrolled. Though many states have reached replacement levels of population, northern states have a long way to go. Less than 50+ve cases for the whole state since last week . We had more cases in Jan-Feb than we have now .
radicaldude
I think we should take such sero surveys with a pinch of salt. Last year a survey had said that in Delhi around 40-50 pc people have antibodies. But the virus devastated the city in the second wave. I guess it also depends on the variant of the virus
Krazyniks
Yeah but with the improved pace of vaccinations I am hopeful that we won't have a devastating third wave like the second wave was.

Black_Hawk
Can runny nose be a side effect of Covishield? I got vaccinated 2 days ago and have a slightly runny nose. Could also be dust allergies. Edit: Ok so my Mother says she also got a runny nose when she took her shot of Covishield.
