My family and I traveled to Hyderabad last week and returned two days ago. Now my mother has sore throat and cold. Just an hour ago I too developed sore throat…

I am scared as sh*t.

No harm in getting tested. Probably just the stupid seasonal flu

Guys don’t panic, specially if you are young ,without any comorbities & fully vaccinated.

Getting tested won’t harm as long as they are easily available.

Getting tested positive without much symptoms is huge pain because they force you to get admitted in shitty government hospital

Where is this happening?!?
Quite a shity move if true.

Mostly being done to keep an eye on the infected probably.

(Can’t even refer to them as “patients”)

Anyway in that case no point getting tested unless symptoms are bothering more than common cold.

It is going to enter all of our bodies in the coming few days, govt. can just delay it with restrictions but I don’t think any govt. around the world thinks it’s feasible anymore.

Keep your Zinc & Vitamin C&D levels good.
Get a booster dose if you are elderly or high risk.

If omicron cases are so mild how come people are lining up to get themselves tested. Mumbai cases have gone up 4 times in 2 days from 600 on Monday to 2500+ yesterday.

Coz it does make you sick & quite a lot if you are neither vaccinated nor exposed.

The probability of severe disease in unvaccinated/unexposed is down just 11% than delta.

That’s why all the governments are pushing ppl to get vaccinated vigorously.

Can you just not give medical advice.

Are you serious?!?

I told him to get tested,he said they will take him needlessly.

I said then no point getting tested needlessly if fully vaccinated young & healthy.

How is this a “medical” or “bad advice” in anyway?!?

By the way, for booster dose, can we go for Covaxin again or should you get a different vaccine?

Govt. hasn’t decided yet.
Guidlines will be out anyday.

Astrazenca has revealed study with increased immunity on third dose.

India has no booster data of it’s own but many doctors suggest superficially that taking a different booster dose has proven beneficial in cases of mRNA after AstraZeneca so can be for other vaccines too.

IMO they will go with same dose booster most likely.

It was reported that it will be the same dose as the first two. I dont think you will get an option to choose.

Only for frontline health care workers and for population above 60

Makes sense. Because most of them are doctors and elderly people.

Unofficially it has been going on for far too long.

Strange.

Not really.

Incidental findings are bound to increase when half of your entire population is walking with the virus.

Basically everyone walking in a hospital for whatever reason is detected to be positive & punched in as a “Covid patient”

Can’t say about US but the last video I posted has proof that UK admissions “Due to Covid” are down significantly.

But obviously goes without saying that all this is data on the internet that I’m just posting here as much as a viewer as anybody else.
