Ya but they should probably start to put that together or atleast what ever they can muster. I am sure they can work it out, we might get data which is couple of days old due to manual process, but should get some indication.

It took them very less time to create tech for covid registration. Every test request, every test result, wherever it is done, is getting logged in a central database. Daily counts still give an idea about the level of community transfer, or at least the delta/change. Very important for those who are immunocompromised to make a decision on going outside or not. My dad is one of them. We have to hold off his neuro consultations since drugs can't be modified unless the specialist examines him personally, and we can't risk taking him to the hospital right now due to high community transfer. Have to wait till numbers simmer down substantially.

You can step out then. Regions are reporting individual city numbers, I know bangalore had around 16K cases yesterday, so it's still not safe to venture out, even if reported case in India say would have been 75K. What you need to see is how badly are hospital opd flooded to the hospital you want to take your dad too, India total number makes no sense for you😊

But it's not difficult to report India wide numbers from those city numbers. A simple excel can do that. The numbers are important. The deltas are equally important. Most of them don't care. Couple of them stopped talking to wife and me when we refused sending our elder daughter to their kids birthday party, in a closed room, with over 25 kids. I find it difficult to understand, why educated people don't understand that we are amidst a pandemic. They can do whatever the hell they want to (no one is stopping them), but why do they want to influence choices of other people.

Didn't go for my cousin's wedding late December. Didn't go for parents new year party, didn't meet siblings. Didnt send daughter to her friends house for Christmas. I'm now a pariah. Couldn't be happier. At this rate I'll achieve 0% family and friends by March 1

Mom also showing symptoms, but she’s super averse to testing. Now concerned about dad - he’s on immunosuppressants. Already isolated him from everyone, but he cannot work without support.
