So they want everyone to be part of their "Exclusive" ecosystem? But have a problem when Sony wants to do the same?

MS games are on Mobile, PCs and Xbox. What i meant by ecosystem is that all Xbox want you to use Live account to access their games, they don't care on what platform you play the game. They don't own Steam and Android app store but still games are there day and date coz Steam and Android allowing users to access their games using Xbox live. Sony is not allowing them to do that, that's why you not seeing many MS owned games on other PS platforms except Minecraft which was already available there before they acquired Mojang studios

But why cant they just release games as a publisher for PS devices? They are clearly in it for the gamers and dont believe in exclusivity.

That's just wrong. Plenty of games allow you to login to the publisher's portal. That's how uplay rewards work. You can earn the points in one game and spend it in another.

Coz if u cant access their games through Live, they will not allow it.

On PS, all games MUST go through PSN not any other online portal. Same on Xbox consoles

Does Fortnite uses Epic launcher on PS4 or Xbox?

Plenty publishers?? name one

According to few insiders  like Brad Sams and Rand ol Thor, not able to use Live on PS is one of the main reason XGP is not PS devices

So what nonsense are they spitting about no exclusivity? They clearly want to bring people to their ecosystem.

How is Sony the bad guy if they want their games to be within their ecosystem? Unlike windows OS  Sony has to rely on consoles to maintain its ecosystem.

Windows is a free platform, it being free while not too arcane like Loonix is what made it successfuly on the consoomer/PC market side of things.

MS Ecosystem on PC is basically windowz store and Xbox GP

Nintendo doesn't allow Live either but you can play Ori and even login through the game and get XBL achievements. Its a bullshit excuse.

He comes with the stupidest excuses. I had to log in to IO account on ps4 to access Hitman 1 content in Hitman 2.

That is actually the best solution because then you don't have to worry about matching regions or disk/digital ownership to prove that you bought the game. Ubisoft does the same and so does Bethesda. Ownership across multiple regions and platforms, nobody's blocking that sh*t. The only reason MS doesn't put their games on PS is because they see them as direct competitor. Which is fine as long as you don't drink Spencer cool-aid.

Wow! Didn't know this.

You can get achievements in Ori, Cuphead and Minecraft by logging into your Live account on Switch. Heck you can login to your Live account through PS4 version of Minecraft and get cloud saves and cross-play MP etc. Sony has their own system of trophies so obviously you unlock those instead.

Without Philly S bullshitting about muh inclusive and zodkesh doing mental gymnastics to defend that fail brand, would we ever know these facts?

Ori not 1st party. MS don't own IP. They cant mandate live for Ori. Steam page of Ori uses all Steam features no live requirement.

But Sea of thieves requires Live

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1172620/Sea_of_Thieves/

Minecraft uses live on Nintendo. Its required to play Minecraft .

Do I Need Xbox Live on Nintendo Switch?

Xbox Live isn’t necessary to enjoy the majority of video games on the Nintendo Switch, but an Xbox account is needed to play Minecraft due to so much of the game requiring online connectivity.

You know at some point you have to just cut your losses, accept that you are wrong and move on with your life. Ori was published by Microsoft. They own that specific game. what the *bleep* are you trying to say.
