Arkham Asylum and City are some of very best games made. 5 years since Knight and 2 more years for this game to release. Remove that and you have couple of decent Superman movies (from the 70s), a good Batman movie and a thoroughly average WW movie. gamer_adi Posted August 23, 2020 Report Share Posted August 23, 2020 Enjoyed the cg trailer, and it's from Rocksteady, they don't need to come out with a gameplay trailer, esp. for a game that's still a couple of years away. Also like the fact that WB didn't make just another "Batman" game, Arkham Knight felt boring in parts to me, as great as the combat system was in Arkham games, same atmosphere + same combat system has grown kinda stale now. They needed to do something different and that's exactly what they are doing. And this is where i like WB more than Marvel, they don't mind shaking things up and taking chances. As far as films are concerned, Marvel MCU movies have achieved a lot, but let's face it, they will never touch the heights of Nolan Trilogy or Joker. Nor will they ever match the heights of fox movies like Logan and Deadpool. They will always be like a fast food burger joint, you will get exactly what you pay for, nothing more, it will taste great a lot of the times, but it will never blow you socks off. Heck the Ova stuff shown in Green Lantern was pretty good too. Catwoman is the worst superhero movie of all time though. Game was even worse than the movie. Tbh BvS and Justice League are the only movies that are just bad in the new DC flicks. Even Justice League is getting a hopefully good Snyder Cut. It's really not as bad as you're making it out to be. Forgot about Joker, yeah it was really good. MoS gave me a headache from all the dubstep and Shazam would've been good as a cartoon episode for kids. But since no game play or in game footage was shown I won't keep my hopes too high. Also, as far as superhero movies/comic movies go, Watchmen is an underrated Gem, if I am not mistaken its DC. Should have made a proper Justice league /Superman game with Supervillain invasion of Earth, etc. They are anyway showing a Braniac invasion. Fighting style of Arkham and old Spiderman 2 not same. But Insomniac Spiderman is heavily inspired from Arkham from mission designs to fighting style. I have played all. So no point in arguing.
