The beheaded monk type guy gives it when you reach temple entrance shrine after crossing the sliding sand area where the enemies are shooting arrows.

Ya. In this game it's better to be very aggressive and do quick dodges, and use everything at your disposal. If you play like a souls game (wait for boss's attacks to dodge and find opening and then do limited attacks and stay back) then you will find bosses tough. This is what I was doing in 2nd phase of white Noble and was losing. Then I said fck it, and rushed him, and beat him easily. This is how then approached all later bosses except the fat loong when he does the earth smash shockwaves move.

Difficulty goes significantly up when u close to end. Last few bosses were kicking my butt

Got the pluck of any skill. Am farming now to get my level up a bit. I feel I am a bit underleveled so need to get that back up + some stamina boosts.

I am playing completely opposite. I don't charge much rather dodge and counterattack and move away. Because of this dodging has improved a lot. Now with some sparks on stamina boosts I feel I am ready to move on to chapter 3.

There's definitely some nerf happened, the damage taken is also low. I only saw the Tiger Vanguard one and it was certainly slower than before. I'm glad I beat him in his prime state.

This was how it went for me too and I played it recently! @Big BossCan you tell which staff and armor you're using? Tiger Vanguard isn't damaging you quite how much it damaged us, your Pluck of Many Spell is damaging the boss far too much too, and the boss isn't even chaining his moves - if I hit continuously like you did without dodging - he'd literally go in his 2nd combo and finish me off without giving the time to drink potions! It's why it took multiple attempts!

I don't remember Armour but will check. I think it's serpent Armor. The duplicates I upgraded by two points to last longer and have more health.

The staff I use is the powerful 40 damage one which increases damage in smash stance. I also have ability or soak (forgot what, need to check) which increases damage/critical hits the more I do light combo. The staff turns red at both ends after light combo indicating it's damage has increased. I only use smash stance for now.

 

I saw @Heaven Angel's video, he gave him sufficient time to back off and do that blood cyclone thing and the large slashes. He did it in my first time facing him and that's what killed me. Also his stone thing and then teleport attack did massive damage. So I made sure to stay on top of him and used the duplicates to prevent him from using long range attacks, and made sure to dodge that teleport attack. I am going to upgrade my duplicates more now because they distract the bosses and prevent many powerful attacks from happening.

You don't need to Farm. I think farming would defeat the purpose as it isn't anything like souls in terms of level upgrade. There isn't much to farm anyway if I remember correctly. Just make sure to search for secrets even with the help of guide.

I leveled up to 42 from 33 in that Rockcrest area. Gave me some sparks to increase staff abilities and some stamina upgrades.

 

I do follow some guides but since I don't want to get spoiled, I check it sparingly. May be missing out on some secrets.

I only farmed to increase health for white Gandalf. After that didn't need to. The focus points use is kinda op as it staggers bosses too and if anyone masters resolute strike it's game over.

That timing window is too tight. I tried it so many times and still no sure way of triggering it.

I do it like 2 times when I attempt 10 times. As it varies from enemy to enemy it's very difficult to master.

Black long done... Good fight but nothing like tiger vanguard. Then went ahead and finished off red long as well. All set for chapter 2 final fight.

Yellow wind sage down on 5th try. Took couple of tries to understand his flying slash where he turns transparent. What an awesome chapter. Reached chapter 3 now.

Killed captain Lotus vision too in first attempt:

 

 

 

Killed captain wise guy in 3rd attempt. Unfortunately had to pause and keep in rest mode as I had to step out to pickup my parents so couldn't capture complete videos. Once you learn to avoid his grab and his full arena attack, he is easy.

Dude, u have some insane reflexes to kill this one on first try. I didn't last much on the first try. Took 4 tries.
