f**king Yellow Long :nerves: I am struggling with spellbinder build on him. I may need to revert back to Immobilize + Clone monkeys build. How many combos does this damn idiot have?

I recommend coming back to him after you progress through chapter 4 or end it. Would be a fair fight then. And yeah Spellbinder isn't helpful against him I believe since he is quite agile.

But I never used Spellbinder so I am always against it :P

Finally!!! Yellow longy drove me mad for an hour yesterday so I stopped playing. Came with a clear mind today and beat him after a few tries. Officially dethroned Tiger Vanguard as my hardest boss but what a fight man!! I think I went well over 20 tries. The problem with spellbinder is that, one does not have anything to fallback to, its just dodge and attack. No spells, no transformations, nothing!

Looking @0verlord 's video, I missed cloudstep man, could have completely avoided his thunder skyfall move.

If @Big Boss beat him in less than 3 tries, Imma gonna jump of a cliff.

I don’t use spellbinder … its makes things too simple

Also, things like cloudstep and immobilize are tactically fun to deploy

Yeah, spellbinder makes it straight forward fight. Very less strategy except just learn to dodge the moves.

Shouldn't have done that. He helps in killing final boss of this stage (forgot the name). It's fun watching them fight.

Oh damn! Didn't even have a clue. Final boss means Duskveil or 100 eyed daoist?

Looked it up and It's Duskveil. His initial phase is not challenging at all but that red phase is what screwed me couple of times.

Yeah Duskveil. But he is not very tough, just that Scorpion made it fun. You can beat him after few tries

Completed chapter 4. Even though initially I hated it, the verticality of the chapter is amazing. And purple mountain, brilliant level design. Onto chapter 5.

I am exactly where you are :D now playing this regularly till I beat it

are you following any completion guide?

Yup, I follow this guy. He is really good and doesn't spoil boss fights.

I am at the final boss of chapter 5. Chapter 5 is relatively easy compared to previous two chapters imo.

Chapter 5 done. Not a fan of this stage even though the story is good. Even the fights were not as exciting as chapter 3 or 4 ones. I think it's because of the stat increase.

Onto chapter 6.

At the end of Chapter 4. There is a mini boss who trains his human desciples when you enter in the area. Forgot the name of the boss but the vibes of that area and that boss along with his desciples in particular is one of the best moments in the game. Boss himself was easy but I really liked the setting overall. Never disrupted ongoing training like this before!

Do you watch the guide first and the start the play through?

I explore an area by myself first without triggering anything especially boss fights as far as possible, then check the guide if I missed anything
