I've pre-ordered too, I think trailers were fine. What was the problem? 30 fps?

The mage build trailer actually looked good.

For once I might enjoy the combat in a Dragon Age game lol

Well everyone has their different opinion. Also I just dont believe in preorders (especially digital) unless there is some great preorder offer.

I agree with you here but they keep pulling it off steam and putting it back that's why I preordered.

I don't mind preordering games, unless some bad news I don't cancel my order, to each it's own i guess.

The trailer shown during the SoP was clearly a "downgrade" compared to all the other videos released so far. Was choppy, clearly running at 30 FPS, and the lighting wasn't as good as the other videos.

Obviously, they had to do that, coz they had to show the PS5 Pro Enhanced version in the same SoP (albeit for a second or two).

Now, I'm confused whether I should play this at launch (have pre-ordered it) or playing it later once the PS5 Pro version launches. Like, knowing the fact that there is a better version coming in a few months (considering the Pro's launch in India and also factoring in when the patch will be available) is making me NOT want to play the "inferior" base PS5 version.

For anyone wondering, what will be the PS5 Pro upgrade:

We are excited to see how Dragon Age: The Veilguard will lean into the power that PS5 Pro unlocks for players. Whether you love deep progression, strategic combat, or diving into the lore of Dragon Age, you will immediately notice the improved experience with PS5 Pro. The game’s Fidelity and Performance modes will both see improvements on the hardware, including improved resolution in 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance modes. Additionally, there will be various improved visual settings across 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance mode.

The team at BioWare is proud of how immersed players will be when they enter the beautiful world of Thedas, with upgraded image quality thanks to Sony’s new AI-based upscalers, PSSR. We’ve enabled Raytraced Ambient Occlusion (RTAO) in the 60FPS Performance mode, which previously was only available on the base PlayStation 5 with 30FPS Fidelity mode.

Preordering used to be very bad but now that steam refunds games it's not as bad imo, on pc at least
