It’s XSS footage. Then again that track looked pretty bland.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

XSS footage was running at 120fps and devs already said 120fps mode turns down graphics as focus is purely on performance and fludity not graphics.

So expecting 120fps plus top tier graphics is bit too much.

Let me know when your  pc can do 4k120 fps on high graphics settings :P

They mention frame rates in their XSS commercial, seems like they intend to achieve it by skimping on graphical fidelity, but lots of naysayers here. Do we have a straight up Dirt 5 comparison between XSX and XSS? The difference should be obvious.

Edit: Couldn't find any.

Dirt 5 also presents three enhancement options.

  • "Image Quality" aims for full 4K while using dynamic resolution to maintain a solid 60 FPS; although there seemed to be very minor frame drops when particle effects kicked up alongside a bunch of cars were on screen, this would be my preferred option. "
  • Frame Rate" also uses dynamic resolution but tones down some visual flair, reducing effects like shadow quality to maintain a more consistent 60 FPS.
  • If you have a 120 Hz display and set the system to output 120 Hz, Dirt 5 will offer the 120 Hz option. As a PC gamer who's been on high refresh rate monitors for quite some time, it's a real treat to see a console game hit 120 FPS. The visual compromises are quite apparent to me, but in return, the game moves buttery smooth and I wouldn't say the game necessarily looks bad.

PS4, ps4 Pro aren't different platforms. Are you gonna count different GPUs also as platforms?

So u saying game is being scaled between PS4 and Pro?

What about One S and One X? Same or different?
