I can't say I'm very good at it but I'm just loving driving around in the muck while the game throws all its amazing weather and particle effects at me. The career mode is perfect for playing in short bursts too. I just fire it up when I have a little time to spare and play a few races without worrying about anything. Gave in and bought the PS5 version for $41.99 in Holiday sale, was urging to see something in 120 FPS mode and hope the game is as good as Sam says, been ages I played an Arcade racing.. The 120FPS mode is really, really good, based on initial impressions. Need to play more to decide which mode is the best. The game looks good, though.
