So does account sharing on Xbox work like Psn? If yeah then GP is even more attractive.

No.

Um, it does allow account sharing. You can set primary devices and play.

Quote

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to five times during one-year period. This period works on a rolling basis, starting the moment you change your home Xbox for the first time. If you reach your limit of home console changes for the year, you’ll get a message letting you know the next available date you can change it.

If you hit limit, just contact support. They are awesome and reset the limit.

Even better on PC without any restrictions.

Idk who started this topic but iam excited that i will not be paying 70$ to play these games dayone.

Thats the best news as far as iam concerned. I honestly don't care if they on PS or not or better than Sony exclusives.

Fair enough. This will make GP even more bang for your buck, and it was already an excellent subscription.

Because of how markets work on hype. I won't be surprised if MS valuation just rises by $7.5 bil or even more due to hype. Buying a company isn't like buying pizza. You may have paid a premium but it immediately adds to your value. Whether you realise it in thekng term is a different story.

You might end up paying more if they ingrain the "infinite" philosophy to new ips. One time payment / selling it post completing the game is a better option imo

And they might jack the prices up. Rs 50 is just the promo offer.

It's like buying the skills to make a pizza - it adds to your worth; you can list it as "things you can do" but whether you actually use those skills to make pizzas or just sit on your hands remains to be seen :)

That case be case basis thing is the most unsatisfactory answer lol

Feel like they means it's going to be on PS platforms too. If it was exclusive to xbox ecosystem MS would be shouting it from the rooftops

I think the games will release on other consoles, but maybe a little late . Just how they released ori and cuphead on the switch. I think timed exclusivity for a month is also more than enough to make the other side feel the need to buy an xbox or game on pc.

It all depends on how those games are announced & where does M$ stand at the market share point of view

99.34% I don’t think any Bathesda game will be next gen exclusive

as M$ wants to cater to GamesPass on XBONE & weaker PC’s too

so looking at that they can’t avoid the Market Share PS4 has

they need!! the games on it too

If by any chance they do decide to make true next gen titles

again where does both PS5 & XB Series market share stand will matter the most

This will never happen

once they move on to nextgen hardware by next year or 2022 ,one S and weaker PC’s can stream games through xcloud just like you do on the tablets and mobile phones currently.

Even today despite their crossgen stand ,majority of 1st party games announced are for series S/X.

MS spent cash to bring those titles on gamepass. That's it. rest they want to earn revenue from every possible system. even phones.

This. The top management repeating the "3 billion gamers" tagline and their focus on Cloud means that the market they want to capture is not just console gamers. Mobile games spending alone is more than all other platforms combined; although, admittedly the revenue model there is different and less than a quarter of them are hardcore. But still, if their GP can be delivered via console, PC and mobile platforms, that 15 million subscriber base is still puny. They targeting the bigger pie (whole of gaming market), instead of a bigger slice of a smaller pie (console gaming).

And thats why their real worry right now is not Sony, but Apple. And they shouldn't care about "declaring" something as exclusive. Anybody who has GP and a PS5 would know better than to spend 70 bucks on something which is already available for free.

The game is afoot.

They can't migrate to a full fledged streaming service in 2 years. That would kill the series s almost instantly outside us, eu, japan and aus.
