Just like I said

they will wait to see how this generation is going to play out

they wouldn’t want to do a blatant 180 again (case in point Rise of Tomb Raider)

if PS is till sitting at 70% market share in next 3 years (when next lot of known Bethesda IP’s are set to come out) they might have no other choice

Starlight being a new IP will be exclusive for sure

also like how Rayn Mccaffrey was giggled upon for saying “they don’t want to take the thunder away from SeriesX launch”

 the host straight up said “while making the acquisition announcement 1 day before pre-order”

can’t believe what sort of stupidity the shills can spew at times

You paying lot of attention to this sh*t. Keep us upto date to all the news :P

Work from home. Less sleep. PC is always on so I can swap anytime between work and play. Been quite a ride.

whoa, your work PC has a good enough gfx card ?  My work desktop/laptop are powerful otherwise, but neither has even the most basic gfx card :-/

This might sound silly to you guys but every time I play Skyrim I have this wonderful yet melancholic  feel, I don’t know how to put it in words, it just feels like I am a person traversing in a better world. The vistas, the people, Jeremy Soules score, the beautiful trees, the flowers, the wildlife, the aurora, the caves, the towns with their stories.

Skyrim makes me rue what we humans have done to this world. I wish I was born in Skyrim.

No other art, be it movies, games or books has evoked this feeling in me.

Go to some Nordic country towns/villages.

You won't find cat-girls and lizard-men and golden eleves there but it is close enough

Everwild‘s most senior developer, creative director Simon Woodroffe, has resigned from his position at Rare, VGC understands.

Quote

In a statement issued to VGC, the Microsoft owned studio confirmed the departure and insisted that Everwild development would be in good hands going forward.

Studio head Craig Duncan said: “We thank Simon for all his hard work on Everwild and wish him the very best of luck for the future.

Everwild’s direction will now seemingly be left solely to executive producer Louise O’Connor, the Conker’s Bad Fur Day animator who has led most of the game’s promotion.

The game’s lead designer is former Lionhead designer James Blackham, who joined Rare from Square Enix last year specifically to work on the game.

Welp, time to start saving  to get a Xbox/Gaming PC for the next big Bethesda game.

Most will come out by late 2022 or 2023. Till now, most will work on Xbox one via Gamepass. Wait till mid gen to buy the next system. Hopefully they will have a slim version and a good collection then. Same story for Ps5.

MS, give Fallout 5 to Obsidian, then you will have my interest

After Outer Worlds, I would rather play Fallout 4 and let Bethesda make Fallout 5...

Plus, Obsidian is already working on Grounded and Avowed.

I heard outer worlds is pretty good. Didn't like it much?

One of the most boring games. Poor RPG progression, poor loot mechanics, bad gunplay, uninteresting weapons, lifeless unexciting openworld and characters, bad art direction, okay story with okay choices. There are more cons to the game than pros. And coming from New Vegas (with all the hype as Fallout killer), it was a giant meh of a game.

Fallout 4 had issues but never this boring. Maybe Obsidian can do better with MS budget but for now I would want Bethesda to keep making Fallout games.

Woah, didn't know this. FNV is amazing so I expected them to do justice to the series but it seems they are not in their prime.
