It's easily repairable. However there are a few things to check.

1) inspect the triggers themselves to make sure nothings cracked or broken

2) check the silicon conductive pad isn't worn out (highly likely this needs to be replaced.)

3) the button ribbon board (probably this is not the issue)

All are available on amazon.

The ribbon boards have a few different versions so you'll have to check the board version. It will be printed on the controller board itself.

Encountered a weird issue

Once I opened the controlled I noticed the ribbon had torn off so I replaced it which was quite simple and straight forward. Once assembled but before closing the cashing I tested all the buttons on https://gamepad-tester.com/ site looks perfect, all gave me 1 including R2 & L2

Now I close the casing and then I get the trouble yet again, I tried this multiple times and still same, issue.

Could the problem be with the casing or the buttons which I didn;t replace thinking issue is with ribbon.

Cant be sure what it is. Might have to do a full tear down and clean. Just to be clear is it the narrow ribbon cable that connect to the charging socket? Because that should not affect the Triggers. Those should work even without the cable connected. That only is used to charge and supply power to the led.

You are right, the ribbon alone wouldn't cause the issue.

I just shared photos here can you check?

I broke the two small pins to fit L1 button which idealy should be easy slide. Any idea what is the internal frame call and where can I get? I can't find on amazon
